Positioned along Taohua River, Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel boasts a Chinese-style courtyard and is located in Lujia Village, just 2 km from downtown Guilin. Location is very idyllic and not too far away from Guilin. It only takes 15 minutes to get there. There is an in-house restaurant with excellent food! Also other restaurants close by. Owner helped us book a group tour to the rice terraces (for just 268 RMB per person), and also a private tour to Yangshuo and Xingping. Very good service!

Featuring free WiFi, a seasonal outdoor pool and a barbecue, The Apsara Lodge offers accommodation in Yangshuo. Guests can enjoy free daily afternoon tea and daily guided riverside bike tour. My room had a balcony with a lovely view of the pool and mountains. In-room massages are available and very affordable. The breakfast was good, as was the restauarant food in general. Free water and afternoon "tea" (snacks). The pool area was very nice and provided shade at most times of the day. Staff were very nice and welcoming.

The location is very close to bus stops from either Guilin West or North train stations. It is also within walking distance to a few major sites. Some buses also stop close to the sites, for $2 Chinese Yuan per person, it is a very good deal. Need to have exact change for the bus ride. Some older bus do not have the means for electronic payment. We stayed in two different rooms, River view with tatami and deluxe family room. Both were very good rooms, excellent water pressure and rain shower was a delight! The room facing the River was a bit noisy during early evening but was not a problem later in the night, when all activities in the nearby park finished and participants dispersed. The deluxe family room, which was facing the inner alley, was very quiet. We did not have breakfast included with the room, but nearby are eateries and a very good bakery. A supermarket is also nearby. We also appreciate the excellent and thorough information provided by the hotel regarding how to get to the hotel from whatever mode of transportation one is taking.

Surrounded amidst impressive Karst mountains, Yangshuo Mountain Retreat is located at the edge of Yulong River. Free WiFi access is available. Free parking space is offered. The location and the outside appearance of Yangshuo Mountain Retreat almost impossibly beautiful. It is situated a stone’s throw from the Yulong River in a valley that is one of the most magical places I have ever visited. Near-vertical towering karst terrain spires line the valley on either side and tower directly behind the resort itself. The resort provides free bicycles which are better maintained that those that I have found for free in other hotels and there are free helmets and bicycle locks provided. The bike ride up the valley for a mile or so along a wide brick paved path that runs along the banks of the river offers a parade of vertical peaks on either side of the river(there are more extensive bike routes listed online but these involved sharing the road with busy auto and motor scooter traffic and I,for one, did not think the risk of an orthopedic, or head, injury was worth it). The Yulong river valley is lined with small farms and has so many gorgeous plants(from banana trees to rice ready for harvest and local wild flowers), that I chose to walk it several times to appreciate the fine detail one misses when biking. The exterior of the resort itself is very charming with exuberant blooming bougainvillea lining the path and framing the verandas of each room. The interiors and plumbing are somewhat old fashioned but comfortable and clean and the rooms have a small veranda with chairs and a small table looking out onto a stunning bougainvillea-framed view of the river and mountains. The staff were friendly and went out off their way to be helpful. They welcomed us on our first day with a complimentary pot of ginger tea and a little plate of cookies. The ginger tea was so good we went back three times during our stay for a pot of the same tea. The restaurant was cozy and the chinese dishes were good(we did not try their western menu).

Li River Resort is situated on the west bank of Li River and offers a relaxing retreat in Chinese-style accommodation. Very lovely hotel right on the river and quite isolated from anything else so very quiet. Only a 15-20 flat easy walk along the River path to the town. The restaurant does great food I ate every meal there. Both Chinese and Western food is served. Beer, wine and spirits also available. I had a River room room and it was very big and very comfortable. The view was fantastic from the room and balcony. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. I booked an in room massage 3 times. They helped me book a day trip by bicycle and also booked my transfer to the train station. The staff were very nice and friendly. A great choice highly recommended

Wedged amongst the bamboo forests and rural farmlands, Riverside Retreat Hotel overlooks the beautiful water of the Li River. Przepiękny widok!!! Dostałyśmy lepszy pokój bo i tak nie było nikogo w hotelu ;) więc chciano żebyśmy mogły skorzystać z widoków. Obsługa rewelacja - rodzina, której zależy na gościach i ich komforcie :) pyszne jedzenie!

Obiekt Guilin Rong Lake Aroma Tea House (dawny Jing Guan Ming Lou Museum Hotel) usytuowany jest w centrum miasta, naprzeciwko obszaru gdzie spotykają się 2 rzeki i 4 jeziora. Amazing location and beautiful hotel.

Obiekt Guilin Village Creek Inn, usytuowany w miejscowości Guilin, oferuje centrum fitness, bezpłatny prywatny parking, ogród oraz wspólny salon. Melody (at the reception) was really helpful and compensated for our inability to speak to mandarin. She organised all the tours for us and was very patient with us. We were upgraded for free and there is free tap water and breakfast included. The hotel is set in a really nice location which is tranquil, though you will need a bike or DiDi to get into town.
