After a couple of nights in other hotels the beds in Lettera were very comfortable. They have various pillows to choose from. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our son had his birthday and they made his day with a special breakfast with balloons and a pancake cake with fireworks.. Area is green and quiet.

Te place was beautiful and so clean. The breakfast was delicious, not the typical buffet. The staff is very kind and we were so near to the airport. We call them via WhatsApp and they send a shuttle to the airport to take us to the hotel. We only had to stay a few hours in Rionegro but the place exceeded my expectations.

Extremely good breakfast with many kinds of fruits, Coffee, Orange juice, many kinds of bread, egg omelette, many kinds of cheese and more… The staff is extremely nice and helpful.

The Real City walking tour is a must! The metro is very efficient (avoid rush hour) with easy access to most must-see sights. The museum at the Universidad de Antioquia is fabulous. And take a day trip to Guatape and the Piedra de Penol -awesome! Tip: be sure to carry with you some sort of ID (copy of your passport, etc.) as you will be asked for it in some of the most unlikely places.

Medellín is a beautiful city full of wonderful attractions and the friendliest people! I was only there for two and a half days, but I enjoyed every minute. I spent one day in Parque Arvi and hiked in the cooler weather above the city. Museo Antioquia had great exhibits and collections well worth the price. The food was great and staying in El Poblado, I had all the food varieties very close to my hostel.

Downtown is a bit seedy but with some good things to see eg plaza Botero and Museo di Antioquia. WEdid it with Real City Tours (highly recommend). Trip on cable car to suburbs and a visit to Communa 13 were fantastic and a must do. Suggest taking a tour of Communa 13 so some one can explain history and meaning behind of the graffiti.

Everyone I know falls in love with Medellin and Antioquia...
Everyone I know falls in love with Medellin and Antioquia (The State). There are so many things to do and see. The food is so inexpensive and wonderful. You just have to be aware of not carrying a lot of money, jewelry, or using or flashing your phone around in public. Taxis are everywhere and they're very cheap, especially for groups. The metro makes it easy to get around the city quickly and inexpensively. Bars and restaurants are everywhere and the malls are huge and gorgeous. There are museums and plenty of beautiful towns to visit nearby. Other than that, I love this place!

Medellin is a really interesting city. Festival of Flowers was on, we loved seeing the amazing floral creations. Museo de Antioquia is a must visit, Bolero's art is incredible. The people are wonderful, and public transport as good as anywhere on planet earth.

Al Alma is a stunning hotel. The rooms, common areas, and pool are so tastefully designed and decorated. It is a truly beautiful place to stay. The staff are wonderful, helpful, friendly, everything you could hope for. The food at the restaurant is also the best food we had in Santa Fe de antioquia. I never thought a place like this could exist in Colombia. It is not only the hotel but its surroundings, I felt as if I was in one of the books by Garcia Márquez. We came to Guatapé for my Wife's birthday, and it could not have been a more wonderful experience. Everything for check-in, room, food, etc. was exceptional. Our actual room (525) could not have been more beautiful, and the views of Piedras and the lake were spectacular. We enjoyed pte-dinner cocktails in the "7th floor" rotating bar, before enjoying dinner in the main restaurant (Buffet, but very quality with attentive service. The value was really amazing, and we can't wait to visit again very soon.

We spent an exceptionally beautiful time at Levit Glamping and recommend staying here 100%! From the very first second we were just amazed by the beauty of this place. The location is spectacular: Directly by the lake and super calm and private with no other buildings around - only stunning nature. Because of the silence you’re able to hear (and watch) all the birds and completely relax. The place itself is super cute and you can feel the love they put into it. All the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive - the whole time we felt welcomed and well cared for in a very genuine way. During movie night they even surprised us with popcorn which was adorable. The bathroom was clean and modern plus the shower had a very good water pressure. Another big plus were the three adorable dogs which made us feel super safe at night. :) The place also offers activities like educational walks through the forest and you can use their kayaks anytime during the day, which we sadly didn’t have any time for since we only stayed one night. The best glamping experience I have had (it is still just a fancy tent). The staff were incredible and the WhatsApp communication to order room service or any questions was very fast and efficient. Most staff spoke excellent English and others were patient and happy to work with a translation app.
