The best experience in Cartagena than visiting Baru but above all this place is really cozy clean and there is nothing else to talk about its delicious food. Posada donde Uriel Playa tranquila is located in Baru, a few steps from Playa Blanca. The hotel has a terrace and sea views, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Location directly on the beach and all rooms with amazing sea view. The sea had perfect azure color. Breakfast was good and served on time. You can get to the accomodation only by boat from the parking place - from the parking place you have to walk approx. 5 mins to the beach where boat pick you up to the accomodation. The way to accomodation was free of charge and the way back to the parking place was charged (around 2,50 eur per person). The rooms were with privat sitting area ( terrace). Prices in the restaurant and bar were good but everything took them a long time.

This is easily the best hotel of all Playa Blanca. Staff are extremely nice. The prices are fair. Location on the beach is just great. The food is awesome. This is truly a paradise.

SABAI Beach features 200 metres of private white sand beach and free WiFi access in public areas. It is located in Barú Peninsula (an island), 20 minutes’ drive from Barbacoas Bay. - paradise just within natural beauty; we liked the mix of a modern and new set up in a natural scene - hotel is pretty new and - honestly - the pictures says it all, but seeing it live is just 10 times better - hotel is located on a private (!) beach, which is SO nice. It gives you 100% Caribbean feeling. Beach is clean and water is nice to swim in - room is big, nice and very clean - very good variety of food (could have more vegetarian options), nice quality - stuff is extremely friendly and helpful - overall: a really nice and romantic set up (even to propose, wedding venue, or else) for couples or a bunch of friends / family; if you need some time off to relax and enjoy yourself: definitely THE place to be - I couldn‘t think of a better place to stay after a few weeks of traveling around.
