I recommend to pay little bit more to get room with terrace and then enjoy your experience twice more! Garden is well maintained and like paradise with all its birds and jungle noise in night time. We booked via reception jungle tour (just 19USD per person) in their own [huge] properties and it was just the amazing crazy thing to do! We saw during 2,5hour walk 2 snakes (one of them was the poisonoust in Costa Rica - fer de lance!), tarantels, huge cockroaches, some frogs, some kind of big bird and experienced amazing jungle noise with high adrenaline level during the whole tour (probably because of snakes and spiders:)). Highly recommended to book that tour as extra thing to your stay… Breakfast was good, lunch+dinner options+service was nice :) National park withits volcanic wonders is very close by. Staff speaks English and is super helpful!

Playa Hermosa'ya 54 kilometre mesafede yer alan Vida Aventura Nature Park, Rincon de La Vieja Milli Parkı'na 16 kilometre uzaklıkta konaklama olanağı sunmaktadır. Good location for hiking in Rincon de la Vieja National Park. We only stayed for two nights but enjoyed it a lot, especially the small pool area. The host was really friendly and served delicious dinner.

Loved the staff and the lodge environment. Very pretty , felt right where we wanted to be. Will come back for sure

We had a spacious room connected to the house. The fan was more than enough to keep you cool. The outdoor living space was fantastic. You still felt quite private and it overlooked the beautiful gardens of the massive block of land were you can watch all the different birds fly through. The blue healers were gorgeous and friendly. The owners are very helpful with fantastic recommendations. Make sure you have dinner here. Its the best you'll get in costa rica. A perfect place to come back to after exploring all the nearby activities. Small village nearby if you need any supplies.

The loved all of trees and the location being away from any town or city. The breakfast was very good

Pochote Lodge was a comfortable and beautiful place for us to spend a few days. Don't expect fancy but if you are looking for a genuine experience, comfortable accommodations, and a beautiful location then this is it! Francisco and Veronica were kind and generous hosts and we loved the home-cooked breakfasts. An ideal location for our family to explore the area.
