Hotel Da Luz has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Santa Maria. This 3-star hotel offers a bar. The location was quite convenient to the downtown area; was within walking distance. The rooms were nice & clean. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. I especially loved the omelette with ham & cheese. Overall, great value for money. My wife and I would definitely stay there again!

Even though we were not able to get the room we had initially booked, the receptionist the next day was more service-minded and helped us with our late check-out request. The hotel itself is nothing short of beautiful, the rooms are very nice and sufficiently spacious with a private terrace where you can hang a hammock, the bathroom is great. The rooms were clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable. USB plus made it easy to charge everything. The breakfast and dinners were delicious and a reasonable price to add onto your stay. Staff was really helpful for addressing any issues in a timely fashion and helping to set up activities. They also gave great recommendations for food and things to do. The hotel is walking distance to the beach. Our room overlooked a lot, not nice in itself, but the benefit was we had an unobstructed view of the sunsets!
