The room was spacious and very neat, right in front of probably the best spot of the village, which is its river. The checkin and checkout were super easy as well. The village is only a 15 minute drive from Granada.

The rural hotel is situated in Cajar on the outskirts of Granada, surrounded by a fertile landscape and offering spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I would give this hotel a rating of 11 if I could. It is an amazing, family run hotel close to Granada, so perfect if you have a car. There’s a bus to Granada city centre and the lovely staff at the hotel have timetables printed out. Our room was spacious and had a little courtyard on the ground floor. Breakfast is excellent and we also had dinner there twice and it was delicious. Highly recommended.

Situated in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Natural Park, this boutique hotel offers rooms with a private terrace and amazing views. La Almunia del Valle features an outdoor swimming pool. Me and my husband visited Almunia del Valle in mid February and we stayed three nights. We were greeted by a very polite and friendly staff who showed us around and told us about different things we could do while staying at the hotel. We decided to do the "La Ruta de los Cahorros de Monachil", an 2.5-3 hour walk along the Monachil river and mountains (absolutely fantastic views and crazy yet wonderful terrain!). The owner Patricia gave us a map and pointed out every turn and route to follow. As the hotel is located between Granada (around 7 km) and Sierra Nevada (around 24 km), it is possible to enjoy both city life as well as the nature. We went hiking everyday and it was very easy to find different routes to enjoy. We had dinner at the hotel all three nights and we were delighted every time. The waiter Paolo was kind and attentive and helped me pick out the perfect wine to accompany the meal. He also made a great gin and tonic! The last night they served "secreto iberico" and it was the tastiest pork we had ever eaten, so succulent and cooked to perfection. We definitely recommend having dinner at the hotel. Breakfast was also great with a variety of breads, fruits, pastries, yoghurt, juice, coffee, cooked options etc. The hotel was very clean and our room was newly renovated to a high standard. Even tough it was cold outside, the hotel felt warm and cosy. The decorations in the hotel are also well thought through and we really felt that it was our second home during our stay. Apart from great food and the excellent location we cannot emphasise enough how amazing the staff really is. Patricia is a lovely owner who takes pride in her work and treats her staff with respect and isn't afraid to ask for feedback in order to improve her service. We had an amazing time and we will definitely be back!

This charming bed and breakfast getaway is set in a 6,000 m² estate just outside the Sierra Nevada National Park, 15 minutes' drive from Granada. It has an outdoor pool and a terrace with great views.... very nice accommodation in the mountains. The owner was great, gave us advice, the staff were very nice too. The breakfast buffet was sufficient :-) We were staying almost alone, so it was quiet everywhere :-). Too bad we didn't have our bikes with us, because starting at 1000m above sea level must be great! Great sunsets, while you can taste wine, drink beer-in the accommodation there is a self-service bar, it was very nice

This establishment is located in the Sierra Nevada National Park, at 1250 metres altitude and with spectacular views of the monumental Granada. Great food, great hosts, amazing views from the balcony. All around perfect hotel in the Sierra Nevada.

Maribel is Sierra Nevada’s alpine style chalet, with a mix of high-altitude fun both on and off the piste for families, friends, and winter sports enthusiasts. Staff amazing. DJ entertainment was very good. Furniture and comfort was great. Lovely pool and spa. Relaxed atmosphere. ski service fantastic.

Labella María is located in Pinos Genil, 15 minutes’ drive from central Granada and 30 minutes from the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort. It offers a 24-hour reception and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Nice and clean simple but high value for money hotell with friendly staff
