I can imagine it being a really good point to explore the Loire valley castles from (for which we sadly didn't have time). L'écu de Bretagne is situated in the quiet medieval village of Beaugency. It features an outdoor, heated swimming pool, and WiFi is free of charge in the entire property. Located in the middle of the old town everything was easy to walk to. There are plenty of restaurants and the Loire is so beautiful. The hotel courtyard has plenty of parking so we could just drop the car. The staff was very friendly, we'd certainly stay here again next visit.

The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful in offering ideas for places to see as well as places to eat. Parking was a very reasonable price for both location and security. Would highly recommend!

Escale Oceania Orléans sits along the banks of the River Loire, close to the city centre. It offers modern en suite rooms with a shower, a TV, and a 24-hour front desk. We were here for one night only. Great location and walking distance to sites and restaurants. Beds were very comfortable and appreciated the AC as it has been warm the last few days. Much appreciated that the front desk spoke English and very accommodating with a map pointing out sites and areas to eat. We needed a bucket of ice and had that for us right away. Would stay again. Very pleased!
