Beautiful accommodation, excellent location ,very recently renovated to the very highest standard. Our room, which faced the front of the Hotel, had large opening windows and was very luxurious. The king size bed was the most comfortable we had experienced in the 6 weeks we had been travelling in the UK. The bathroom, with a shower with a glass door, was perfectly appointed - also loved the bath products. Just a beautiful room, we felt very spoilt. The restaurant and bar areas were also beautifully appointed with luxe decor and sumptuous furnishings. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were very polite, friendly and attentive and went out of their way to attend to our requests. We also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and, again, the food was absolutely delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and would highly recommend. We would definitely stay at The George Hotel again.

We were a family of 4, my husband, myself and my in-laws. The rooms are very beautiful, clean and have a unique character. The restaurant and bar are truly beautiful and convenient. Staff is exceptional and very helpful. We asked the owner if we could have breakfast at 8am instead of 9am, she immidiatley accepted and served us home-made breakfast on saturday and sunday. The food both breakfast and dinner were satisfying and good portions. I would recommend this inn because it feels like home.
