This was my second trip to Patmos, and the fact that I chose to stay at the Armyra again says it all. The location is perfect - outside of Skala and so away from the crowds but less than 10 minutes walk to the centre of Skala, the port and a bus stop, from which you can catch busses to Hora or Grikos or Kampos beaches. The room is compact but has everything you need and the breakfast is fabulous! Isidoros clearly enjoys his role as host and goes out of his way makes each guest feel valued and ensure they have a positive experience on the island. Thanks for another wonderful stay, Isidoros - it was lovely to meet Iota and little Kiriaki.

Det familjeägda Delfini Hotel har utsikt över Egeiska havet i centrala Skála och erbjuder prisvärt boende bara 50 meter från den lokala hamnen. A mere 50m from the ferry port makes this an ideal location. Add to this extremely helpful and friendly staff (thanks Anna Maria) and a spotless room with private balcony and views across the bay and you have a real winner! Strongly recommended!

Breakfast buffet selection was excellent! Location of the hotel with the private beach was a real treat! Rooms were spacious, quiet, beautifully furnished and clean, and we were upgraded to a suite with a private pool!! Absolutely wonderful!! Staff were friendly and attentive! Alexandros Hotel ligger i Grikos och har magnifik utsikt över havet. Havet ligger bara 30 meter bort. Kyrkan Agios Ioannis Theologos ligger 1,5 km från hotellet. Alla rum har en garderob. Breakfast was great, served by the proprietors. Location was great, plenty of restaurants right along the beach. Only a €7 taxi fare to the main town and harbour Skala. Not much further to St John’s cave etc.

Porto Scoutari Romantic Hotel ligger ovanför sandstranden Meloi och har en hjärtformad pool och en bubbelpool. De eleganta rummen har balkonger med panoramautsikt över Egeiska havet. Is a family own place by a lovely lady. Great service. Very friendly. Close to the port. Well situated calm and nice view of the bay. We enjoyed it a lot.

The_Petra offers an intimate setting, a large swimming pool with poolside bar. From room keys to lobby and room décor, it features art of famed Greek artists. One of the best properties I have ever stayed in and I’ve been to many locations. This is a small property of 11 rooms. Extremely clean and well maintained. Petra and Kosta are the owners and attentive. Sotiris is a manager and also very attentive and polite. The staff at breakfast were two of the nicest women. The property is maintained constantly, even with small paint touchups. The rooms were spotless and I am very picky. The views of Grikos and the water each day are beautiful. The pool has towels and lounge chairs. Their are even wireless buzzers on the pool tables in case you want to order a drink or snack. So much detail and thought has been put into this property. Breakfast was different each day. Lovely choices and freshly made food. You sit at the top eating breakfast overlooking the water. Sun shades to keep out the sun.

Effie Hotel ligger i Skala i Patmos, bara 100 meter från närmaste strand. Boendet har en solterrass, en snackbar och utsikt över klostret St Johannes teologen. Wi-Fi är gratis. Hotel Effie is in a very central location and most things are just a few minutes away. I walked almost everywhere because things were so close. Right from leaving the ship, the hotel is just a few minutes to reach without a car. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating and always had an idea for daily activities even when I didn't. I felt cared for and taken care of. The facilities are clean and the surroundings are like a picture from a travel guide. Very peaceful atmosphere and simplistic charm. I would definitely visit again!
