It’s location is perfect on the banks of river Ganga. The mansion has a very unique charm to it. Even though it’s a hotel, it had a very homely vibe and the rooms were beautiful. The food was authentic and yummy. We loved our stay.

The staff are very friendly and you feel like family. There is food available if you want. Lots of shops nearby and the main town isn't far down the hill. Rishikesh is also pretty easy to get to. The staff are great at sorting out anything you need and giving great advice about the local area. There is a yoga room up on the roof that's fully enclosed but has windows facing the sunrise. During my visit we would all just drop in and out to do our own yoga practice according to our needs. I understand there are sometimes classes but I guess you should check with reception for more details.

The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure all my needs were met. I particularly enjoyed the delicious food at the on-site restaurant, which featured fresh, local ingredients. The guided nature walk was a highlight, offering a great opportunity to see the local wildlife. Though my stay was brief, it was thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend Jungle Fowl Resort for a peaceful retreat in nature.
