There is also an on-site bar. really beautiful view, comfortable stay and nice attention to detail. The breakfast was one of the best I had in Iceland ( croissants and home made jam were delicious)

Nice modern hotel for a good price, a rarity in Iceland! We've paid more for hostels with a shared bathroom. Here we had a clean room with private bathroom, complementary coffee and tea, and a great view to top it off :-) Definitely try the Pakhús restaurant nearby: great langoustines and lamb! We walked toward the minigolf at midnight to see the northern lights and had a great night's sleep afterwards.

The breakfast was amazing. It is also located very close to the glacier. There is a trail that begins behind the hotel and leads to the glacier. It was a beautiful walk.
