Breakfast was amazing with all the good and fresh food you can have in Japan. Prepared by chef. The day i stayed was amazingly rainy and the hotel provided large red umbrellas which was more than useful and kept me almost dry.

They even made a reservation for me on the night that I arrived when I asked for a recommendation on where to go. It's close to tourist spots; a 5-minute walk to the Kanazawa Castle, about 15 minutes to Higashi Chaya District, and right beside the Omicho Market. There are also bus stops near the hotel.

The stay is actually the upper-level + back room behind a gorgeous cafe/restaurant within a machiya (traditional townhouse); so you get the whole accomodation to yourself! Beautiful traditional details including tatami mats, screen doors & a tranquil inner garden; paired with modern comforts — gorgeous bathroom and bed. The hoast was incredible, giving great restaurant recommendations & serving the most delicious breakfasts every morning. We loved this stay and will certainly be back.

The coastal drive from Noto via Suzu was beautiful. In Wajima there was a free Gojingo Daiko performance at the kiriko museum. The morning market was enjoyable. The Ishikawaken Wajimashitsugei Museum was worth visiting.

Kanazawa is an elegant and quaint city in the ishikawa prefecture. People are friendly and seem to be a little more conservative than other cities in Japan. It is a beautiful city and I will keep on visiting this city to discover more whenever I get to visit Japan again. I have definitely left my heart in Kanazawa for its hospitality and beauty.

While the place was out of the way from the main city of Kanazawa, the trade off was a quiet suburban neighbourhood of Japan, very close to a supermarket and an amazing sushi restaurant called Nishikawaya we had 12 freshly made nigiri for a very reasonable price.

It is an accommodation with the largest space I experienced in Japan, it was very comfortable and clean, even the bathroom and bathtub were spacious. The breakfast was delicious, they had typical desserts from the area, and the staff in general was very kind and friendly.
