Located 3.2 km from Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei, THE BLOSSOM KUMAMOTO offers 4-star accommodation in Kumamoto and features a fitness centre, a restaurant and a bar. The hotel is right at the train station. We can drop our luggage and start the tour and come back at 3 to check in. The public bath nice and the room is reasonable size with a queen side bed. The train station is a little off the downtown area. But we got a one day pass to take the tram. Very convenient.

I was blown away by the location and the interior comfort of the hotel. The room felt new and very well maintained. Clean and comfortable beds with well thought out amenities in the room. It is also just next to the Aso train station. My room view was a mountain view which was breathtaking. Hotel also provide free usage of the microwave and free coffee, miso soup, etc that you can conveniently make and enjoy a cuppa at the reading room area.

The location is great. just 5 minutes walk from the tram and the city center. 10 minutes from the castle. The hotel seems new. the room was incredible and we had a perfect view to the mountains and the river just under the hotel. There are plenty paid parking around. Totally recommend this place!

The price was affordable for the range of services provided including a comprehensive breakfast and various smaller amenities including pajamas, toiletries, soaking salts, etc. Service was great and my room was clean and comfortable. It was also quiet despite being next to a busy commercial arcade. I highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay again in the future.
