The Nara Visitor Center and Inn is situated in the heart of Nara, just a 3-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple and Naramachi. It was clean and accessible. The facilities were very fun to use and the choices of activities were great for the kids. The staff are friendly and the view from our room was amazing.

As a bonus its only a 5 minute walk from the train/bus station. Wish we stayed longer here.

I was so enjoyed staying there and also the time to talk with the locals (but you may need to have some Japanese communication skill, or even you cannot, I am certainly sure that they will somehow communicate with you with their best). You must try Sento, the public available for free to their guest staying there.

Staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. Easy access to temple and deer park.
