This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. It was in a great location, close to the station, downtown & the historic area. It was totally sound proof, spotlessly clean & tastefully decorated. The amenities were of high quality & the snacks provided were generous & varied with a focus on local produce. Lastly, the staff were delightful & were truly committed to providing an excellent service. It was a truly memorable stay in Kurashiki.

Boasting a restaurant, Royal Park Hotel Kurashiki is situated in Kurashiki in the Okayama region, 800 metres from Shinkeien Garden and 9 km from Tanematsuyama Park. Vadim from reception was so friendly and helpful, so already at check in we felt so welcome in this hotel. Unfortunately we didn't have time to check out the onsen area on the 11th floor but it looked very nice. The room was very clean, again not very big, which wasn't a problem at all. The bathroom was also a delight. They even have a little heater behind the mirror so that it's never getting "foggy" which I found very cool. We booked the place instead of staying in Hiroshima because we wanted to see this cute little town which was definitely worth visiting. From the hotel you're in 10 minutes in the heart of the old town.

The single room was very comfy with a large bed. The personal is very welcoming. But what impressed me the most is how they helped me when I had to go to the ambulance one night after arrival at the hotel because of a thrombosis. They brought me all my luggage that I had left unpacked in my room because I was not expecting being hospitalised. They even reimbursed me the next night. This was such a wonderful experience and shows how much they care about their customers.

Staff is great. They helped with sightseeing in Okayama, and even let me ship an urgent package from Amazon if I stayed another night. The amenities you get here are exceptional for the price you pay. Free popsicles and drinks, snacks for 10 yen, frozen omelette with rice or pasta for 100 yen. Free bicycle to ride around town which was very convenient to see the castle and museums. Free pastries for breakfast. The room is clean and good. Overall I had a great stay. This isn't an ordinary Japanese business hotel.

This was one of our favourite places to stay on our trip in Japan, The staff were very friendly at the desk and helped me find someone local to fix my son's back. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. The location was very good. The staff at breakfast were very nice and happy and welcoming. The breakfast was a large choice. We were sad to leave because we found this such a relaxing place and I would definitely come back here. There seemed to be a lot of happiness and care at this hotel - people seemed to be happy working there. Really recommend people to come here.
