When the tide goes out, it is worth hiring a local guide to show you everything as you walk out on the coral. (Ask the hotel owners what is a good price for this service so you can be prepared to barter.) We strongly suggest the flight from Wilson to Diani, it is the best way to avoid the ferry in Mombasa. Since you will not find an ATM at either airport, ask the taxi/tuktuk driver to take you to one before you travel to the hotel. And if you go by tuktuk, ask for the beard guy!

Both rooms, staff as well as the food and location can't be better. The restaurant with the best view is also very popular with guests who do not stay at the hotel. The breakfast is also outstanding. We cannot understand the moderate applications for breakfast. When we come back to Diani, it will definitely be the Asha again. Thanks to Frank, Susan, John, Purity and the other dear people there. Butikový hotel Maji Beach je situovaný pozdĺž piesočnej pláže Diani a ponúka vonkajší a krytý bazén, reštauráciu a bar pri bazéne. Na mieste si môžete zacvičiť vo fitnescentre alebo si dopriať masáže.... I stayed at the Maji Hotel for 5 nights in January 2023 and it really could not have been better. I would recommend the Maji to anyone going to Diani. The staff was very friendly and helpful, my room was clean and comfortable, and the beach views were breathtaking. I didn't want to leave! I also really enjoyed the food. I had the half-board option and I thought there were good options for breakfast and dinner. There was a lot of variety in the choices and I think you could stay for at least a week (probably more) and order different things for every meal. I was travelling solo and would recommend the Maji to other solo travelers. It was so relaxing and the beach was beautiful - probably the best beach I have been to.

Set in Diani Beach, less than 1 km from Baharini Shopping Centre, Seaclusion Diani House has an outdoor swimming pool and rooms with free WiFi access. The penthouse we booked was really spacious and well furnished. The hotel's staff and owner were always really nice and welcoming. The food was delicious. The place is located just a few minutes from the beach.
