El Encanto Garden Hotel is located in Santa Cruz. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. Santo Domingo Beach is a 7 minute walk from the property. Amazing view from the common area, good breakfast. Carolina and Josh are awesome hosts! Wifi works perfectly and you could work from there without any problem (with volcano view, of course). Comfy rooms. We could rent a motorbike with them and they gave us great tipps for things to do around the island! The kitchen has everything you need as well. Close to shops, restaurants and Santa Cruz Beach (3 mins walking), but very quiet. Lots of hammocks and rocking chairs to chill! Would definitely come back :)

Offering a restaurant and a private beach area, Hotel San Juan Ometepe is located in Altagracia, just 2.3 km from the main road. I really enjoy the location near to the beach and the spectacular view to the volcano. I will definitely return soon to Hotel San Juan.

Located on the beach in the San Fernando, 800meters north of Santo Domingo and 1km south of Santa Cruz,, Xalli Hotel features a sun terrace and views of the lake. The room looked nice and was very comfortable (room no 8). It felt very peaceful and relaxed ... and Food was good: last night I tried the Salvadorian salpicon which turned out to be very tasty. The staff is also very friendly. I can certainly recommend staying at Xalli.

Hospedaje Central features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Moyogalpa. Amazing people, the place is vibrant, colourful and bonded with nature. The bar is cheap and offers plenty of goods. Would recommend for anyone on a budget.

Cabañas Privadas Dilany in Moyogalpa features 3-star accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. The accommodation provides room service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. - If you are looking for a stay amongst locals, this is the place to go! Alejandro, Xavier and their parents are very friendly and nice people. They are also very patient, so I was able to practice my basic spanish skills :) - If you want, they offer to cook for you. The food was freshly prepared, very tasty and some ingredients, e.g. fruits and beans were even homegrown! - They can arrange different tours for a very reasonable price. Alejandro drove me around the island during an entire day and he was an excellent guide as well as driver!

The staff is very nice and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was clean and spacious. I loved their big hammock outside :)
