Situated 20 km from Alta’s town centre, along the Alta River, is this special igloo hotel. The hotel was spectacular. We had the chance to view all the suites and they were all incredible. If you can splurge on the suite…do it! The art in the hotel is just incredibly creative and beautiful. All around in incredible!!

Aquest cèntric hotel de Kirkenes es troba a prop del fiord de Varanger, a 900 m de la terminal de ferris d'Hurtigruten. Ofereix plats de qualitat i internet Wi-Fi gratuït. My check-in was at 15:00 but I arrived at 13:00 and I didn't have to wait, everything was ready. I had a very clean room with a breathtaking view, and it was also very calm. No annoying noice. It's so important to me.

The room was very comfortable and cosy, and the breakfast delicious. The bus stops litterally on the hotel parking lot.

We liked everything: the spotless clean room and bathroom, the breakfast with fruit and vegetables (and cheeses, ham, eggs, yogurt, marmalade, ...), the balcony with sea view, the staff, the Thai restaurant at the ground floor. The restaurant closes at 9pm (kitchen at 8:30pm). The rooms are at the first floor above the restaurant. From the balcony, where there is a table with chairs, you get inside a small common area where there is a shared fridge, gratuities coffee, tea, biscuits and fruits. Our room was comfortable and very nicely decorated, Norwegian, but colourful.
