We had an incredible stay at Blatind. We booked it last minute and just stayed for one night. It completely exceeded our expectations - spacious room overlooking the mountains, friendly and helpful staff, hot tub with incredible view, delicious breakfast. Very cosy and clean. We ended up eating at the restaurant for dinner and it was delicious- highly recommend!

Hotel Noreg is located in Ålesund city centre, 50 metres from the bus station and the Hurtigruten Ferry Terminal. Public parking is accessible nearby. Free WiFi is available. Very nice hotel with variety of breakfast. Cappuccino machine available 24/7. Comfy room size for our family with 2 adult kids. Staffs were super nice. We’re highly appreciated his help with our lost luggages. Good location. Short walk from everything. Oriental grocery is just opposite.

Hotel 1904 is a boutique hotel situated in the centre of Ålesund. Built in 1904, the Art Noveau-style hotel has been welcoming guests for over 100 years as Ålesund’s oldest hotel. The breakfast was phenomenal. Everything was fresh, the fruits were perfectly ripe, the pastries were crackling, the breads excellent, fresh orange juice from oranges.... top notch. One of the best breakfasts I have ever experienced in a hotel (including expensive work related meals). The owner clearly spent money on top quality renovations. The doors to the rooms block all sound, double (triple?) pane windows mean that even when someone makes considerable noise outside, you are not disturbed. Building kept its personality, you know you are someplace special.

Warm welcome - easy to find - 25 mins from airport so great as overnight stop on way to Geirangerfjord . Lovely staff , comfy clean rooms , very good food options and tasty breakfast buffet . Everyone so helpful . Highly recommend this hotel . We will return

Quality Hotel Ålesund is centrally situated in the popular Skansekaia Harbour area, overlooking the sea and surrounding islands. It offers a private quay and rooms with free WiFi. Excellent Breakfast. Location is damm good, touching the sea. Walking distance. Very friendly staff. Must play the game in reception area. Very good seating area in the lobby. Parking is freee after 5pm in nearby roads (just 1min away). Old town (German style) is just talking distance. You can actually see Alesund in 1hr by walking. Must visit Aksla View Point (can go by car in 10mins drive) or can walk up (entrance is just 100ft away from Hotel).

We chose a superior room and it exceeded our expectations. The room was a great size, with a corner balcony overlooking the water. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was well-appointed. The breakfast was amazing. The front of House and wait staff were brilliant!

Very nice room (we had the view to the fjord). Very nice, kind and polite staff, being very young. In other location we had bad experience with young staff (students), but here not, on the contrary. Excellent breakfast! Free parking and large lot. Walking distance to the village center.
