It was so wonderful to stay somewhere with such a rich history. There are so many lovely historic touches like door plaques, light fittings, artwork, etc. The room was modern and had a great tea nook, a curtained baggage/wardrobe area and comfortable bed. I appreciated the guest laundry facilities, and loved relaxing on the balcony in the evening. All of the front desk attendants were so helpful. I also loved the bathtub in my room and surprisingly powerful hairdryer.

Scenic Hotel Te Pania enjoys a waterfront location on Marine Parade, overlooking Hawkes Bay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable with a great view. The hotel building is stylish and had a decent amount of parking. Location is handy to downtown and the beach.

Just 2 minutes’ walk from the waterfront, East Pier Hotel features free WiFi, a restaurant and a bar. You can enjoy a cup of tea while admiring the sea views from your private balcony. The view of the bay was lovely. The location was very near to the historic village of Ahuriri and the historic tobacco company building.

Overlooking the waterfront, The Crown Hotel offers stylish boutique accommodation in Ahuriri, just 5 minutes’ drive from Napier city centre. The property was clean and very nicely updated with all the amenities we needed and more. There was more than enough room for our family to comfortably settle in for the week.
