Bungalow con vistas al mar increíbles. Lugar con mucha paz. Desayunos y cenas deliciosos. Anfitriones muy amables, te dedican todo el tiempo que haga falta para aconsejarte de los tours que puedes hacer. Recomendable 100%. Sin duda si volviera a Bocas del Toro, me vuelvo a alojar en Ataraxia!

We liked everything about this place, Carmen is a really big spirit, beautiful soul. Worth to mention: filtered water is provided, you also have beers, wines in the fridge and coconuts are available too. The organized tour was exceptional and Sunday night at the Bibi`s was an authentic experience.

Punta Rica Lodge is nestled in the Bastimentos island jungle, surrounded by beautiful flora (trees, colorful flowers) and fauna (amazingly rich wildlife). We loved our super friendly, open, fun and helpful hosts, Brian and Daniel, who have made us truly feel at ease and among friends in this beautiful place. Most nights we ate dinner together, since Dan cooks the most amazing and varied dishes, all from fresh, local ingredients, while Brian makes wonderful cocktails that made us feel at home and among friends, sharing stories, dreams and travel adventures. We loved the pool and the common area (living and dining room), as well as our amazing suite, the delicious and fresh meals and the smiles. Thank you. It was one of the most amazing experiences ever.
True Nature Jungle House

El 2 bedroom Jungle house with sea view - Path to Wizard Beach se encuentra en Bastimentos y ofrece terraza. Ofrece vistas a la ciudad y al mar. Angie is the most amazing host! The jungle house she build is awesome and we've had a wonderful stay. Angie is well connected and can help arrange tours and transport. She has some great suggestions on where to eat and things to do on and off the island. The community living on Bastimentos is lovely and the town feels like something out of an adventure novel. The house is situated right on the jungle trail to Wizard Beach, where you have a chance to spot birds and wildlife. Mere 50m from the house you have Mami's Restaurant, who is somewhat of a mother figure in town and is a great cook! There is also a small nature reserve an adventurous 20min walk from the house which is a must see on Bastimentos. Although it first looks like a garden, the reserve is a gateway to the jungle on the island. Within an hour or so we've seen sloth, capuchin monkeys, cayman and redfrogs. Also Mami's super sweet dog aptly named Princess might show up at the house and demand cuddles. She is somewhat of a local celebrity and you'd best abide.

Desde MXN 1.839 por nocheLa isla Bastimentos es perfecta para desconectar. El hotel tiene las vistas perfectas del mar (con unos atardeceres espectaculares), junto con la jungla por el otro lado (que puedes ir a ver los caimanes que viven ahí). El restaurante es ideal con vistas al atardecer en el mar. Nuestra habitación era la de la casa del árbol y es preciosa. Los tours que organizan son perfectos porque son solo para los huéspedes del hotel, por lo que son prácticamente tours privados.

Totalmente aislado, sin ruido, muy tranquilo, el lugar precioso. La atención espectacular, la comida y compañía de Vicente (chef-anfitrión) y su equipo de otro nivel!! Algo totalmente distinto, sin grandes comodidades pero uno se desconecta por completo

The staff were fabulous, the setting was beautiful but the showstopper was the food. Some of the best meals I’ve ever eaten and able to cater for dietary requirements (gluten free) really well so I didn’t miss out on the experience. The table was also so beautifully set for each meal - we really enjoyed our experience there.
