Caravelas ligger på Madalena, omgivet af Atlanterhavet på 3 sider og med udsigt over øen Faial. Der er udendørs swimmingpool, døgnåben reception og biludlejning. I don't understand why so many people are complaining about this hotel. It is as close to the ferry terminal as you can get. , The rooms are clean and tidy. The pool has a nice view on Faial, and is beeing cleaned every morning (and they are probably the only ones having a pool in Pico anyway...) You can walk in less than 5 minutes to all the different tour operators (Diving, Hiking, Whalewatching, Rentalcars....) and restaurants. It is maybe a bit dated, but I felt like they were doing their best at being welcomig. They even organise a mini breakfast buffet from 04 a.m - 7 a.m for people leaving early on hikes or diving tours...! Keep in mind that every Airbnb in the area is more expensive , without offering you room service, breakfast or a pool area. If you come to Pico for its great nature activities, and want an easy hotel, thats your place to go!!

Loving Strangers Hostel ligger i Madalena og har have, fælles opholdsstue, terrasse og bar. Der er karaoke og fælles køkken. The hostel is very spacious, clean and well equipped. I felt very comfortable the days I stayed there. The nice atmosphere makes it easy to get in touch with people. Stefan's and Pedro's attention was magnificent, very kind and helpful. Muito obrigado! :D

We had a wonderful stay at Casa do Mar. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Relaxing atmosphere and beautiful view of the sea and Faial island on one side, and of Mount Pico on the other. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Ideal location - walkable distance from Madalena center and from several natural pools, and a 10-minute drive from the airport. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would absolutely recommend!

We had a really cute studio apartment (that was surprisingly spacious) for the week. The location was great, the owner was lovely, and the apartment was really comfy.

O Zimbreiro ligger i Piedade og har bar. Dette Bed and Breakfast tilbyder gratis privat parkering og bagageopbevaring. Overnatningsstedet har familieværelser og et picnicområde. go there and you won't regret it! the place is heavenly, surrounded by greenery, with a well-kept swimming pool, as well as all the outdoor spaces. in the morning birds and bunnies stroll in the garden, they are wonderful. the room, equipped with a kitchenette, is beautiful and functional, very clean. The breakfast was delicious and rich, with hand made products. but best thing are Anne-Lise and Jeremy: two people of rare kindness. we also had dinner there one evening and it was clearly the best dinner of the whole holiday, superior to any restaurant tried, a starred restaurant dinner! Thank you so much Anne-Lise and Jeremy for the great experience

Andreia is a very friendly and caring host. We are very satisfied and highly reccomend it for couples and families.
