Food was very, very good. Breakfast was varied. The heated pool is very nice and opened until 11pm in this period. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. From our room and balcony we had a clear view of Deva Castle, and we could watch the sunset. Parking is next to the hotel and spacious. The suite was very large with two separate rooms. Breakfast was good, traditional European style self-serve.

Quiet location down a side street off the main road through the centre. Off-street parking is accessed through the archway - about a dozen spaces. The restaurant is good and there are 4 breakfast options on the menu (you can also choose something else, if you prefer). The staff are friendly and helpful. Although there's not a lot to see in Haţeg itself, you can easily visit the Haţeg geopark, Hunedoara, Sarmizegetusa Regia, Ulpia Traiana and several old churches. So this hotel is a good place to stay for several days while exploring the region.
