Luxury and comfort are part of the standard package in such an international chain, but what really made our stay special was the very personal touch of the staff. They were very friendly and each of them aiming to make us feel welcome. That is priceless.

Looking back upon a 100 year-long tradition in hospitality the historical Grandhotel Stary Smokovec in the centre of the High Tatras, only 3 minutes from the departure station of the Hrebienok cable... We loved everything about our stay in Grand hotel Stary Smokovec. It was not our first time there, but it was the first time with our toddler and she had the absolute best time! The staff was super kind and helped us with everything we needed. They also made special arrangement regarding our room - extra bed for no fee and bathrobe and cute slippers for our little one. The hotel is simply beautiful and has great amenities - The spa and wellness is very clean, well organised and super pleasant. Children can play in huge kids room close to the bar so the parents can enjoy coffee, drinks and even food while watching their children having great time. The restaurant was awesome - tasty food and many many options for breakfast, lunch and amazing a la carte dinner. Even special request of our daughter for a glass of milk in the evening was fulfilled! The hotel staff is a team of great professionals. The fact that there is private parking right in front of the hotel and the location of this hotel being in the center of Stary Smokovec is obviously a huge +. You can choose from variety of rooms, we had a junior suite and it was very spacious and quiet with a view from one side on Lomnicky stit and from the other on the sunrise above Poprad. We will definitely come back again!

O Hotel Lomnica está situado no coração da aldeia de Tatranská Lomnica, rodeada pelo Parque Nacional das Tatras Altas, onde proporciona vista panorâmica para o Pico Lomnický. Perfect location, clean, nice view, perfect breakfast, perfect coffee, pancakes, perfect indoor pool. Absolute perfect!

Located in Belianske Tatry region and right next to the Strachan Ski Centre, Wellness Penzion Strachan offers a wellness centre, a restaurant and various entertainment activities. Place you would come back to. This is an amazing place to stay. You get everything you need and want. Spacious room with balcony and view. The bathroom is big, especially shower. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful(I'm sure they were happy to see me going because my demanding behaviour was out of control). The hotel is just 3 minutes away by car from the ski resort, or you can use one right next hotel, so it's a perfect location. It was the best breakfast I ever had in a hotel. Plenty of choices and glass of prosecco was appreciated, too. There is no kettle in the room, but you don't need one. I did use a spa at the hotel. It was very helpful after skiing, just relax(have to be booked in front). Another great thing is that you can leave your ski gear in a special room, where your ski and ski boots dry.

Situado no último piso de protecção no Parque Nacional High Tatras, o Mountain Hotel Bilíkova Chata está localizado na encosta sudeste do Pico Slavkovský, a 300 metros do Funicular Hrebienok. The location is absolutely breathtaking! As is the architectural feat of the chata itself, the decor and atmosphere matched perfectly where we were. The rooms were pretty and quaint, clean and warm, the best we could expect in late winter!

4-star Wellness Hotel Borovica is set in the heart of the High Tatras in Štrbské Pleso, the highest village of the Tatra Mountains. Great wellness and friendly staff at the breakfast.

Situado nas margens do Lago Strbske Pleso, o Hotel Solisko está situado nas Montanhas Tatras Altos, a 1,4 km acima do nível do mar. The Solisko Hotel has free parking, which is common with the five stars Kempinski Hotel. The Hotel is located directly on the lake shore. We had a spacious standard room with balkon to the forest. The room has an armchair and perfect lighting. The bathroom has lot of storage place, hangers and fantastic shower gel, body lotion with argan oils. The restaurant has exquisite cuisine.
