First and foremost I would like to say this was one of the best places I have ever stayed in all my years of travelling to various countries around the world. My mother and I were visiting from Ireland and unfortunately due to the train station being located at Wells, we required a taxi to and from the station. We were initially advised Uber would work in that area but it did not and we were told after this by the hotel that they were notoriously unreliable. We successfully managed to get to the property after calling a local taxi at the train station. We also ensured to arrange a taxi to take us back to the train station with plenty of notice. 30 minutes before the taxi was due to arrive, the hotel was called to let us know they would be a few minutes late only and not to worry as we would still make our train. 25 minutes later no sign and I spoke to the lady working there. When I asked if they gave an ETA as our train was booked back to Boston in less than 30 minutes, she was shocked and immediately sprung into action. She attempted to contact back the taxi company who now were not answering. She straight away got in touch with her general manager, Kristin, who had no hesitation to take us to the train station at Wells asap. We made the train with 2 minutes to spare and to be honest besides the helpful nature of the staff throughout our stay which I was going to highly commend, the actions of the staff and the lengths they went to to help us in our situation were amazing and I was so grateful for their kindness. Besides all this drama, we encountered various staff during our stay including the lovely Megan and Tasha. Both were super friendly and helpful during our stay. Breakfast was great each morning with fresh fruit, yoghurt, granola and a variety of breads. The offerings were very healthy and tasted great too. Also, the drink station was a nice touch and the evening salted cookies were wonderful. The hotel was very clean and tidy and in a beautiful location.

Me encantó.
Me encantó. Conozco muchas ciudades y estados de USA, desde Alaska, Yukón, Las Vegas, Texas, Los Hampton's, etc. De la costa este sólo me faltaba Maine. Pero sólo estuve en su capital. Ideal ir con auto y recorrer zonas cercanas, calculo alrededor de 150 a 200km donde hay zonas de lagos y montañas maravillosas. De Portland adoré las gaviotas porque se escuchan todo el día inclusive en el centro. Son de esa variedad grande cuyos chillidos nos hacen sentir unidos, ligados al mar y a sus costas, aún estando más internamente situados. Creo que iría a pasar unas vacaciones de verano.

Me gustó la habitación, está muy limpia, muy bien decorada y con muchos detalles. Tiene cafetera dentro, vasos, café, infusiones, leche.Me gustó que hubiera un pequeño frigorífico en la habitación. Además la cama y las almohadas son muy cómodas. Me encantó también el desayuno, es muy variado y rico. Hay opciones para todos los gustos, fruta muy rica, cereales, dulces, huevos, bacon, salchichas etc..

The most beautiful location. It was quiet and peaceful and the motel endorses this by making you sign a paper stating you will make no noise after 10 pm. Loved it. Though a bit old, it has a lot of tlc in it. Coffee and coffee making facilities as well as complimentary pastry in the morning. There is a rememberance bench on the beach from a french women stating she had travelled all over the world but that this location was her true home. Gotcha!

Very close to ogunquit beach. Restaurants within walking distance. The staff were very friendly. We booked the king room with spa tub and it was great and as we expected. The bed and pillows were comfortable too!
