Lovely hostel by the waterfront with Peter and Helena near Pango village. Pango is one of the most beautiful parts of the island! Walking into town is about 45 minutes, but is easy. Or there's the bus for 150Vatu and around 10 minutes. Great location, great hosts!

Situated on the waterfront at Fatumaru Bay, Chantillys on the Bay is a 2-minute walk from Port Vila Town Centre. It offers an outdoor pool with sun lounges, a spa and free Wi-Fi access in public... Great location and price, the pool was lovely. The staff were all so nice and all rooms would have a great view too.

Located just 5 minutes’ walk from Port Vila town centre, The Melanesian Port Vila features a choice of 2 restaurants with cultural entertainment by the poolside. Good breakfast, fresh local fruit. Coffee can improve a little.

Occupying a prime waterfront location, Grand Hotel and Casino offers air-conditioned rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies. We had Dinner and the pizza was amazing and the salad and sweet potato fries complimented it well

I’ve stayed in nearly every “budget,” a bunch of affordable, and a few ritzy spots. This spot for its price cannot be beat. Clean, running water, overly accommodating staff. Seriously, they washed my clothes and offered me a bigger room because it was available. What set them apart is they refunded me for the first night of my three night stay since I was unable to check in until day two because of a flight delay. And they let me check in at 9am because the room was ready! Look. Vanuatu is a silly expensive country. I’d say ludicrous at times. This hotel is worth it. Work with the staff and they will ensure you have working A/C, wi-if (given no storms), a bed, and a quiet space in the heart of Vila (which is very hard to find).
