Resort a Srithanu Beach

Mangata Bungalows is an amazing place. I loved that it was a small resort with only 5 bungalows, which allowed us some privacy and quiet. Cycy is an incredible hostess and she did so much for us, including arranging our transportation to and from the ferry, and taking our laundry to be cleaned and then returning it. The property itself is beautiful, with a lovely saltwater pool, direct access to the beach, and plenty of lounge chairs. There were even stand-up paddle boards available for us to use. There was a 7-Eleven right across the street and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. If you don't have a bike to get around, it is easy to flag down the songthaews taxis, which frequently pass by the hotel.

Abbiamo dormito 3 notti in questo bungalow, e il giorno della partenza ci è dispiaciuto molto lasciare questo paradiso. I bungalow sono proprio fronte spiaggia, a letteralmente 5 passi dal mare. L’emozione di svegliarsi e addormentarsi con il rumore del mare è indescrivibile. Vi consiglio di fare anche colazione e bere un cocktail al tramonto nel bar a fianco, ottima qualità del cibo e dei cocktail. Se siete disposti ad adattarvi e a rinunciare per qualche giorno alle comodità di un albergo, ve lo consiglio assolutamente!

I bungalow sono meravigliosi e sempre pulitissimi. La piscina è ottima sopratutto per la mattina quando con la bassa marea è difficile fare un bagno senza camminare km. Il personale è gentilissimo e discreto. Possibilità di noleggiare motorini presso la struttura. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

Struttura molto bella, immersa nel verde e direttamente sulla spiaggia (che purtroppo è poco praticabile per via delle maree)! La struttura è molto tipica per l’isola, esattamente come si vede in foto.

They have a vegan menu! They don't mention that anywhere so this was a great surprise. The place is amazing and everything about our stay was absolutely great: friendly and helpful staff, comfy room, super clean and beautiful pool, awesome bar/restaurant by the beach with great food. It was hard to say goodbye. Another thing that wasn't clear to us before we arrived: you can easily reach the beach from the bungalows. You basically walk less than a minute until you reach the bar, which is by the beach. It's great!

The staff are excellent. The 3 restaurants basically on the beach were really good. Seetanu however was the best one. The beach had good sand with very little slope to it. An excellent place for children to play in the water due to gradual slope. The rooms were spacious and extremely clean.

It was super quiet, right next to the beach. Has everything you need + a hammock outside was super nice
