A beautiful large area with many activities and a beautiful beach. It is a pity that I was not able to take advantage of all this, because I was only passing through for one night.

There is no other property in the upper keys like the Islander. The rooms (which are super clean) are huge and have beautiful vaulted ceilings and giant windows overlooking your own private screened-in porch and patio. The pool area is beautiful and has two pools and a full restaurant that actually serves quality food and drinks. There’s a big beautiful beach area and water sports provided by the hotel onsite. definitely Recommend!

Absolutely lovely stay at the Drop Anchor! The room was right on the beach and we woke up to palm tree views and ocean! The location was exceptional and the staff were super friendly!!! We cannot wait to go back!!!

Best stay throught our two week, mid to lower pan handle road trip. Amazing location and hotel. The rooms were very nice, staff brilliant and the breakfast was good. It has its own private beach which was fabulous, with free use of kayaks during the morning. My kids had so much fun catching & releasing hermit crabs & sand crabs, snorkling in the gently shelving clear sea. There was also a family of very colourful Iguanas that lived in the shrubbery near to one of the two swimming pools, who came out to sun during the day and we were able to get very close to them as they were quite fiendly.
