Featuring glass igloo accommodation in Kilpisjärvi, this property is located beside the Vasara Reindeer Ranch, next to the Kilpisjärvi wilderness area. Guests can enjoy mountain views and hunting for the Northern Lights in the surroundings. The igloos were extremely comfortable and well stocked with everything you needed. Winter clothing and outdoor gear readily available. We went snowshoeing amongst the reindeer, which was incredible. Mia is a wonderful host, very welcoming and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious!!

Nestled between the shores of Lake Kilpisjärvi and the slopes of Saana Fell, Kilpisjärven Retkeilykeskus offers rooms with a private bathroom. The resort has a restaurant, sauna, and meeting and banquet facilities. Rooms, breakfast, staff and especially the location were perfect! We could also observe auroras here at the night we stayed! 😊 The restaurant was inside also quite good. The lady at the reception was also quite nice to us and as promised to her, we will definitely come by again! 😊 Definitely, definitely recommended. Kiitos! 🇫🇮
