Set by Lake Kilpisjärvi off the E8 motorway, this resort is within 7 km of the Swedish and Norwegian borders. It offers cottages and apartments with private saunas, full kitchens and free Wi-Fi. The "iglu" cabin was one of the most amazing spots our family has ever stayed!! The three of these units opened in 2022, and they are designed and outfitted with great amenities. Everything down to the suana, dishes and sound system was high quality. The glass dome over the upstairs bedroom was perfect for keeping an eye on the heavens...Even had heated glass to keep the snow off!

Nastanitev Arctic Lodge Hetan Kota s pogledom na jezero Ounasjärvi se nahaja 3 km od smučarskega letovišča Hetan. Ponuja pogled na vrt, zasebno plažo in brezplačen WiFi v vseh prostorih. Titta and Janne were really the kindest. They picked us up from the bus station and later even brought the powerbank we have left behind across the lake back to us 😭❤️ The facility was basic but really comfortable and clean: we found everything we need for a well-rested night before a long hike. Breakfast was homely and fresh, cloudberry jam was included - what a luxury. We met several interesting travelers, and even had a chance to pet Teukka the doggo.
