Featuring glass igloo accommodation in Kilpisjärvi, this property is located beside the Vasara Reindeer Ranch, next to the Kilpisjärvi wilderness area. The igloos were extremely comfortable and well stocked with everything you needed. Winter clothing and outdoor gear readily available. We went snowshoeing amongst the reindeer, which was incredible. Mia is a wonderful host, very welcoming and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious!!

Nestled between the shores of Lake Kilpisjärvi and the slopes of Saana Fell, Kilpisjärven Retkeilykeskus offers rooms with a private bathroom. Rooms, breakfast, staff and especially the location were perfect! We could also observe auroras here at the night we stayed! 😊 The restaurant was inside also quite good. The lady at the reception was also quite nice to us and as promised to her, we will definitely come by again! 😊 Definitely, definitely recommended. Kiitos! 🇫🇮

Set by Lake Kilpisjärvi off the E8 motorway, this resort is within 7 km of the Swedish and Norwegian borders. It offers cottages and apartments with private saunas, full kitchens and free Wi-Fi. Excellent staff who were super helpful (esp. Mario from the front office) ; Easy check in and check out; Very nice restaurant; Great central location yet quiet and peaceful.

Overlooking Lake Ounasjärvi, Arctic Lodge Hetan Kota is 3 km from the Hetan Ski Resort. Beautiful setting for this property and honestly it was a fairy tale. Room was very nice and cosy and shower was warm and relaxing. Had all the facilities we needed and also ample parking for the car. Very quiet surroundings with beautiful views across the lake and the woods. Perfect spot for Aurora Borealis as there's no light pollution. The host was fantastic and very friendly and helpful. She prepared a lovely breakfast for us in the morning and also gave us plenty of info about the places and activities in the area. Would highly recommend staying here! Kiitos!
