The resort also features free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. This was probably the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. Villas by the lake are so lovely, we have enjoyed it so much that this is the first time we didn’t want to leave the accomodation. Breakfast they bring you is also lovely, the staff is lovely, you can try yoga or siesta classes… Dinner in Solitairy restaurant was an amazing experience. 10/10

The units in the resort are equipped with a coffee machine. At Pistohiekka Resort, every room has air conditioning and a private bathroom. Nice place by the lake, good beach, food in restaurant was great. Breakfast delivered to room and breakfast had everything we needed. Nice nature in the area. Very suitable for families.

When we stayed at the place there was no restaurant or bar facility available due to COVID. Despite this the place, location and staff exceeded out expectations. Great for water sport lovers as it is by the shores of lake Saimaa. Fishing aficionados would love the place, there were guests that brought their own small boat even. Close to Savonlinna and the rest of the Saimaa region at a location that is beautiful to just walk by.

Situated 50 metres from Retretti Train Station and 100 metres from Lake Pihlajavesi, Harjun Portti offers cottage accommodation with a private sauna, fully equipped kitchen and air conditioning. Parking and public area WiFi are free on site. Punkaharju city centre is 9 km away. Punkaharju Nature Reserve is located right next to the resort. We were made very welcome and the chalet conformed to the description. No bad surprises. The chalet was spacious, heated before our arrival and the fireplace allowed us to spend good times inside even though it was -25 outside. The sauna in the chalet was a real plus too. Very close to the lake, the snowshoe or Nordic ski trails, it is a perfect location which gives the feeling of being in the heart of nature while being in the immediate vicinity of a clear traffic route, which is not negligible in extreme cold. I think we will come back if the opportunity arises.

Imatra is 74 km away from Sahanlahti Resort. What can I say! This was my 4th stay at Sahanlahti and as every time, my only big mistake was to have stayed just 1 night. The location by the lake is just beautiful, the rooms are so well done and have a friendly, welcoming vibe, the staff are helpful, the breakfast on a terrace in the morning is a treat. During the day there are other people around visiting the facilities, and there is a small harbor for a few boats, but it all comes together to being one place of life and relaxed enjoyment and nature. For me, it does good to my stressed soul every time I stay there. Highly recommended.

Overlooking Lake Puruvesi in Punkaharju, this resort is 100 metres from a beach and 25 km from Kesämaa Adventure Park. Guests can rent canoes, motor boats and snowmobiles on site.

All accommodation options at Holiday Resort Naaranlahti have a TV and a kitchenette. The refrigerator, microwave and tea/coffee maker provide comfort and convenience. The place was amazing. At first we thought it would be boring, but the longer we stayed, the better we enjoyed the stay. And the view from our cottage is amazing. We would definitely stay longer next time.

The fully equipped kitchen includes kitchenware, a microwave and a dining area. BBQ equipment is also provided. My daughter liked the horse riding. The area around the main house is nice.

Dinosauria Water Park, as well as the HyperDino Indoor Park are on-site summertime activities available at Visulahti. It also has a wax museum, seasonal restaurant and bookable beachside sauna. Great location on a pretty lake with a variety of cabin types. There are shared bathrooms near the cabin we stayed in and an on-site restaurant for meals. it’s also close to Mikkeli. There’s plenty for families to do f try im mini golf to a theme park with rides and a beach. The staff were very friendly! Also open in winter apparently for skiing.
