Aurora Village Ivalo is situated in Ivalo and offers cabins with a glass roof, offering the possibility to spot the Northern Lights from the bed. We love everything about Aurora Village! Beautiful property and cozy cabin. We couldn’t see aurora, but we enjoyed looking stars while lying down on the bed. A lady at reception was very helpful for finding activities to attend for us, she also arranged take away breakfast for our early checking-out. There is a forest path on the property. It was like walking a winter wonderland!! It’s a very quiet and peaceful place. I highly recommend anyone who is planning to go to Lapland.

Naktsmītne Northern Lights Village Saariselkä atrodas ciematā Saariselkä. Viesiem ir pieejams restorāns, bārs un bezmaksas bezvadu internets. The atmosphere was magical, the staff were all so helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious. The booking process of all the activities was very smooth. I also like that they lend us free winter gear for the duration of our stay.

Situated 11 km from Ivalo town centre, Ukonjärven Holiday Village offers chalets with free Wi-Fi access and flat-screen TV. The location and accommodation is perfect and relaxing. The cabin was clean and the views across the lake from the many windows were exceptional. Had the Northern Lights been active, we could have seen them easily from the living room. It is located an easy distance from both Ivalo and Inari for dining options. Parking was directly beside the cabin. SmartTV and WiFi worked great.

This Finnish Lapland holiday village is situated right by the Ivalo River. It offers double rooms, holiday cottages, a caravan area, summer cottages and a camping area. Great locations and awesome service Food was great.

I actually took my parents to Kakslauttanen 7 years ago and wasn't sure how it would look after all that time. Needless to say, it's even better than I remembered! I was with my Wife and our 2 friends this time round and we had the most magical time ever, it's just such a wonderful experience. The Planetarium is now finished and was epic! The northern lights were amazing and the lodges have now been equipped with an alarm that can sound to alert you of a potential NL sighting. The fact the resort is literally in the middle of a forest is just so perfect and the snow is about as fairytale'esque as you can imagine. We did quite a lot of the activities and had a blast. The cross country skiing was hilarious and our faces ached with all the laughter. (mostly at our falling over!) A super special thank you and 11/10 for Sparkle the Elf! This woman was magnificent and guided us on our tour to meet Santa and the celebration house. We had such a good time and were really so thankful. We loved the food and really couldn't fault anything!
