This was by far the most amazing stay we had. the owners and their staff made us feel so welcome. They took so good care of us. This resort was home away from home. The iglo’s where the most magical. Thank you so much Aurora Queen! we definitely are coming back.

Aurora Village Ivalo se află în Ivalo și are căsuțe cu acoperiș de sticlă, care oferă posibilitatea de a vedea aurora boreală din pat. clean, comfortable and they serve superb breakfast, lunch and dinner ! lot of fun for the kids too!

Northern Lights Village Saariselkä se află în Saariselkä şi oferă restaurant, bar și WiFi gratuit. Superb Experience! we got to see the northern lights on our aurora cabin. Friendly staff in the resto esp Buzz and May, very accommodating :)

Ukonjärven Holiday Village, situat la 11 km de centrul localității Ivalo oferă chalet-uri cu TV cu ecran plat și acces gratuit la conexiunea WiFi. Great location near Ukonjarvi lake, in the woods, away from most people and any light pollution. The cabin we booked was good value, could have slept 6, has a kitchen which worked for our little budget. And a sauna to sweat out the aches and cold. WiFi was an added bonus. We saw the aurora 2 nights out of 3, for extended periods. This isn't guaranteed but the location is key, being so close to a dark spot with open skies (over the lake) maximises your chances. No need for those "Aurora Hunting Experiences".. my partner and I were alone in the dark with the aurora lighting the skies and mesmerising us. Highly recommend this place. The owners are reserved but friendly and helpful. I only mention this because some people expect an obsequious welcome or staff that act subservient. This isn't that place. You are guests and they are hosts and their approach of minimal interaction or disturbance suited us perfectly. They offer lifts to town when they're going and lend snowshoes if you need. Much respect to them both.

This Finnish Lapland holiday village is situated right by the Ivalo River. It offers double rooms, holiday cottages, a caravan area, summer cottages and a camping area. Great locations and awesome service Food was great.
