Pistohiekka Resort ligt tegenover het strand in Puumala en heeft een terras en een bar. Het resort heeft familiekamers. Alle units bij het resort hebben een koffiezetapparaat. Nice place by the lake, good beach, food in restaurant was great. Breakfast delivered to room and breakfast had everything we needed. Nice nature in the area. Very suitable for families.

Harjun Portti ligt op 50 meter van het treinstation Retretti en op 100 meter van het meer Pihlajavesi. Het biedt huisjes met een eigen sauna, een volledig uitgeruste keuken en airconditioning. De omgeving en het park waren zeker de moeite.

Sahanlahti ligt aan het Saimaameer, op 15 minuten rijden van Puumala, en heeft een eigen strand, een jachthaven en een rooksauna aan het meer. What can I say! This was my 4th stay at Sahanlahti and as every time, my only big mistake was to have stayed just 1 night. The location by the lake is just beautiful, the rooms are so well done and have a friendly, welcoming vibe, the staff are helpful, the breakfast on a terrace in the morning is a treat. During the day there are other people around visiting the facilities, and there is a small harbor for a few boats, but it all comes together to being one place of life and relaxed enjoyment and nature. For me, it does good to my stressed soul every time I stay there. Highly recommended.

Dit resort heeft uitzicht op het meer van Puruvesi in Punkaharju. Het ligt op 100 meter van een strand en 25 km van het avonturenpark Kesämaa. The place was amazing. At first we thought it would be boring, but the longer we stayed, the better we enjoyed the stay. And the view from our cottage is amazing. We would definitely stay longer next time.

The ambience of the place is what I liked the most here. A bit away from the highway by the lake amid the picturesque landscape of Punkaharju, the resort is among the perfect places if you are looking for a place to unwind. The Punkaharju ridge and the nature trails in Lusto area are just a few kilometres away - you can either walk or rent a bike from the reception. Apart from this, one can participate in a number of leisurely activities. The resort also has an aquatic park and rope park close by. For food you can visit their restaurant or even cook in the kitchen if you are camping. Talking of camping, they have quite a large area for pitching tent or parking caravan. Other options to stay include cottages. I stayed in one of the small economy cottages with two beds. It was decently size with a refrigerator and a microwave a couple of chairs outside. Given the size of the cottage it does not include any closet but has a shelf to keep stuffs. Finally, before I forget, I need to mention the staff who were very helpful and always served with a smile.

Tanhuvaara Sport Resort ligt naast het meer Suurjärvi en beschikt over een eigen strand, een buffetrestaurant en diverse activiteiten op het terrein. For one night stay everything was good. Nothing stood out as really good.
