THE ROOMS WERE EXTREMELY CLEAN! the food, service, staff, atmosphere everything was so AMAZING. definitely a 9.5/10 the only bad thing was water heater, it only stays hot for awhile afterwards the water gets cold so you gotta shower fast haha also they have two brown house dogs (a mother and a child) they are so loving and friendly please remember to give them gentle pats when youre here and dont forget to feed them (no bones!) enjoyy hahaha

You get to stay in a traditional hmong village, which to me was really cool. There are many families, children, animals...and you get to see their real daily life. There is a beautiful view and restaurant area. We ate dinner and had the free breakfast (noodle soup with vegetables and egg from their farm). We were the only ones in the dorm room. The room is basic but this is how they live, we slept fine. We had a hot shower. It was clean. The host speaks English but the families don't, so you're not able to really communicate, but you are able to see them and observe and they are welcoming and friendly. We were doing the Hà Giang loop. This place was great for us because we were looking for a more authentic experience, we didn't want to be with a majority of tourists, which can easily happen when doing the loop.

This place is more than recommended. Service is amazing, they took care of every aspect of our stay and went above and beyoned around everything. Accomodation is super traditional, and reastaruant offer offers vietnamese as well as local food. Truly, i have no words to recommend and describe the place, worth the visit for 2-3 nights

Phoenix Hotel Hà Giang ligger i Ha Giang og har have, fælles opholdsstue, terrasse og bar. Dette 4-stjernede hotel har gratis wi-fi, fælles køkken og roomservice. We stayed at the Pheonix Hotel in Ha Giang for 5 nights and had an excellent stay, the staff were highly efficient and extremely helpful. We had a deluxe room with balcony overlooking the river and the view was excellent. The hotel was quiet and I spent 3 days there myself while my partner did the Hi Giang loop, it was a great place to stay solo also and I highly recommend this hotel. From outside, turn right and a mile walk through to interesting sites into the city and up to Ho Chi Minh Square where there is always something taking place with the local schoolchildren, parades/bands etc. There is also a fantastic temple complex in the city, a market, lots of cafes and eating places with vegetarian options, easily found using Google maps etc. Ha Giang is a fantastic city to explore and still unspoiled for now. We would definitely return to the Phoenix Hotel.
