Elevators extremely slow and only one set going to lobby. Hot water in shower took a long time to warm up. The breakfast included was okish, but a bit burnt and stale. Lobby was extremely cold, and hotel staff helpful. but lacked enthusiasm. Many unpleasant smells in hallways stairwells and just before get to main lobby

Spacious room, the bed was very comfortable, could always get juice and water, and great parking surveillance, prime location near lots of restaurants, pubs, cafe’s etc

First of all the entrance and lobby. I felt like in a bad motel. Second with all those machines the air still had a strange smell. Even worse in the garage in the elevator area.

Our TV's didn't work. Not a HUGE deal as we weren't there to watch TV, but it is nice to relax and watch a show at the end of the day to unwind.

It felt a little tired in parts.

Don’t judge the book by its cover…it may look a little tired from the outside, the rooms are very generous, with everything you could possibly need during a stay. Very comfortable beds. free laundry and big bonus! Enough choice for breakfast, you could even take a packed lunch away with you. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

Better than expectations. Great welcome at reception. Big room with comfy bed, sofa, kitchenette; even a desk with computer and printer! Breakfast was adequate and plentiful. Not gourmet but enough to set you up for the day. Location was excellent; walking distance to attractions with plenty of restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Nice touches with USB charging ports in the room and nightlight in the bathroom. Free laundry with washing powder provided. Paid parking lot nextdoor.

Aircon was very noisy if it was left running.

Fantastic suite, immaculately clean, close to centre of Ottawa. Staff were brilliant. Breakfast was extensive but self serve with disposable dishes and cutlery. The room was huge with 2 TVs fridge freezer and cooker with oven and grill. Bed was king size.

The Business Inn is close to Parliament Hill and Rideau Canal. Perfect spot to visit all the main attractions. Breakfast was perfect for families, great choice and made it easy to make sandwiches for the day. Rooms were the size of small appartments. Perfect for families. We will be back.

As others have mentioned the outside of the building looks more modern than the inside. It doesn’t have built in air conditioning but does have air conditioning units Could have been a bit more environmentally friendly and had soap, shower gel and shampoo dispensers instead of old style individually packaged products and a recycling bin in each suite or on each floor or a notice asking guests to take glass, paper and plastic to the recycling bins in the breakfast room.

The Business Inn is in a good location with plenty of shops and restaurants and a short walk to the Parliament area and Byward Market. The free breakfast had a good range of options but we weren’t fans of the ready made hot breakfast sandwiches. Don’t be put off by the lack of seating in the breakfast room, there are another 2 large brighter rooms with windows. We had a one bedroom suite with a large balcony. The furniture was comfortable but a bit dated and there was also a desk with computer and printer. We paid extra for a nominated underground parking space but didn’t use the car while we were in Ottawa as we could walk to every where we wanted to visit. It was good to know that if we had used the car we would have a space to come back to. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

The building is quite outdated and needs a bit of TLC. The positioning of our room meant we couldn’t access through reception, we had to walk round the back through the car park which was a bit unusual. The decor needs a bit of attention in my opinion, very outdated and a bit dark and dull.

The location was perfect. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby which was great. Within walking distance of the main areas, also bus stops just outside the hotel if you wanted to go a bit further. Having a kitchen in the room was handy for us as we could cook our own food if we needed. The room was kitted out with everything you could possibly need, from hoovers to washing baskets to fans, literally anything and everything.

Very well located and impressive range of services available in the room (equipped desk with computer, iron board, Dyson, fully equipped kitchen, etc.). The bed is quite spacious and confortable. The breakfast is carefully thought for people on the go with takeaway options. We had a pleasant stay and all staff was super friendly and helpful.
