The gardens and surrounding area, with the birds and wildlife were so beautiful and wonderful to relax in. Breakfast was very good, a wide choice of freshly cooked options as well as cereals, sweet pastries and cakes, juices and a variety of teas and coffees, served in the beautiful dining room. Dinner was always delicious, with locally sourced produce and superb wine. The staff were extremely kind and very helpful in organising trips and transfers.

It was just like in the pictures, very modern and clean. Enough space for our bags and to walk inside. Very comfortable and quite big bed. Communication was excellent, we received the check in details before arriving and it was easy to get into the building and the apartment despite no physical staff available. When we had a question the response time through WhatsApp was quick as well. Safe neighborhood and quick cab drive to the city centre.

It smelled like smoke inside, like it used to be an apartment where smoking was allowed. Now it’s obviously not anymore, but the smell has gotten into the walls I think. When we told them this they were very nice and provided us with some lovely room spray. Also opening the window helps. The shower is separated from the rest of the bathroom by a glass window, which is not nearly long enough to keep all the water inside the shower. Hence we had to shower very carefully and use low water pressure to not drown the bathroom floor in water. Aside from these things we did enjoy our stay there.

The place was nice and clean, located in the best area of Mendoza. The room I got, Alfonsina, was big and it had a window with a great view and a lot of light. The kitchen was great, you’ve got everything there to cook if you want. They kindly let me stay the last day some hours more, waiting in the common areas.

I was robbed. To enter the house, you go through a kiosko that is on the street. I waited here until I could check in, and the two women working there stole my backpack. I was carrying a luggage and other bags and I didn’t notice until I was inside my room and they had left. It was evening and the kiosko was closing. Supposedly, there are cameras in the kiosko, but the owner didn’t respond for three days and then told me the video had been deleted.. Also on Booking.com the price of the stay was 80usd (to pay in person). But on arrival they told me due to the exchange rates of the day I had to pay the equivalent of 100usd. But I was tired and decided to just pay it… As for the stay, you can hear everything from the room, it was noisy day and night. During the day there are people working in rented offices right next to the living areas, also sharing the the kitchen and bathroom. It’s always crowded and you can hear everything they talk, the house isn’t insulated. At night, you can hear other people from their room. It was always loud until late. Some days there wasn’t warm water in the shower, and I’d have to shower with cold freezing water. Last day the shower wasn’t working at all..

The accommodation was quiet and comfortable, with a panoramic view of the harbour. The host, Christian, was very hospitable. He drove me to and from the apartment, gave me a tour of the town and area, and allowed me the use of his laundry facilities. Great place to stay in a wonderful town.

Awful musty smell in the room. Would reappear every time we leave the door/window closed (e.g. when we go outside). Cleanliness was extraordinarily suspect -- we found hair in the towels, fingernails in the bedsheets.
