We loved our stay here. The hostel has good facilities, very clean and well-maintained. We loved the roof terrace! The staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and went out of their way to help us with a wide range of needs. It's conveniently located in a nice neighbourhood and the other guests were a mix of nationalities and the vibe was friendly. Breakfast is simple but wholesome and nutritious.

The hotel is very well located: just outside of the old town so it is very calm (which is appreciated given the crowd of the old town). At the same time it id easy to go inside the old town (just one street to cross). The decoration is inspired, the room is clean, modern and comfortable. Lee granted us a warm welcome, with lots of great advice for people whi want to get off the beaten track.

Sun (the manager) was very helpful and gave me a good recommendation for a local hill to climb. We had some interesting talks about traveling to different places. Located close to the Lijiang River and Yangshuo town centre, this hotel is a calm and peaceful place to stay. The single room I stayed in was cool during the day, and nicely decorated. I loved the stuffed animals 😍

Negative section of review
All I would say is that a summertime bed cover would be good, as the one on the bed is quite warm for the time of year. The bed itself is a Western one, so quite soft.

The hotel gives out the Chinese authentic vibe, the food, decorations and everything. Front offices people is very helpful all of them can speak English which is great as well as the owner. The tea complementary in the room is fantastic.

I booked a private room in the hostel and it was good that it had airconditionair for the crazy hotness of Chengdu. The structure itself is not bad.

I found this time a very closed and not inclusive chinese community, which it works almost as a "Ghetto" where foreigners are not included. This is very visible by the fact that nobody speak english (a part from the receptionist, which is already a good thing) and they avoid you as if you were almost an alien.

Door to the bathroom didn't have a privacy screen, so we had to work around it whenever someone needed to use the toilet or shower.
