We stayed in a triple room which was a good size and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The location was excellent; I the heart of the city and only a short walk from all the must see areas.

There was a lift but due to the quirky layout of the building, not all areas can be accessed from the lift. We were in the 4th floor and had to get off the lift on the 2nd floor and then walk up the stairs to get to our room. We didn’t mind this but it might bother some people.

Staff were friendly n helpful. Breakfast was okay for the price.. No restaurant or bar services available. Good location to the tram service into Amsterdam.

Taking small limited accommodation.space to a new level low. Thought Ibis n Easy hotel rooms and bathrooms were small. Fogo Hotel bathrooms should not have passed planning permission. Couldn't wash my face, let alone my hands in the sink. Having a shave was difficult. Kept hitting my elbows against the shower walls. I'm only 5'8" and 170 lbs.. Could hardly walk around the bed to open n close the window. Slept in better hotel beds with much better pillows. No kettle to make coffee or tea in the room. TV had no BBC or STV channels, but plenty of German and French stations.

We asked for an alternative pillow (I had a neck problem with big, stiff ones in the room) but they could not supply öne because they were fully booked whereas it says on their ad that anytime we can ask for.

Advertised as 2.4km from airport…surely not the truth. Location way out of city and far from airport. Was doubled charged for shuttle to airport.

Wasn't really a studio apartment at all. Just a hotel room with a tiny induction hub. Kitchen is too small to really cook anything, and the fridge doesn't even have a freezer. I was misled by some photos that were actually for common areas and not part of the room at all. The place was much smaller than I expected. 9 days here and they didn't even offer one cleaning.
