Bathroom was not good. Shower wand was broken and spraying all over and insecure. Toilet seat was detached. There was visible black mold in the shower. Just not clean enough. Bathroom was quite cramped. Noisy too. The person next door could be heard coughing all night long. Carpet up the otherwise nice circular stairway was completed worn through. Staff was nice, but they are gone at 8 pm so noone (?) around at that point. Had trouble with the WiFi and had to get a special password for a separate SSID network from front desk.

Good location and with a nice view of the castle. Room was large enough and bed was good. Working elevator. Breakfast in the morning was good and had a decent selection of options.

The additional (not sheeted) blankets were not squeaky clean, there were a couple hairs here and there and we were really tired (and a little stupid) and we slept on the proper blanket (thinking that we didn t have one). You can hear the neighbors but ours were well educated

next to the Chateau de Blois and the bus station to Chateau the Chambord, I understood the rooms with a view to the Chateau de Blois are a gem, but I wouldn t know for myself. Anyway, great location. Very very nice hallways and an extremely charming staff

Plumbing needs an upgrade, difficult to get a decent shower. Rooms not soundproof but hardly to be expected in a building of this age. Amazing and highly commendable that a building this age is still operating as a hotel.

Staying in a seriously elderly building with all the issues that go with that. Staff great, very good breakfast, very clean, excellent location, big rooms. Very useful to have a lift.

The walls of the room was so thin you could hear everything from next door room

The location is the best part. The hotel is located in the centre of the town. The castle is 2 min walk from the hotel. The breakfast was delicious at a fair price . The staff was welcoming and polite.

The morning staff were a bit rude and cold. The hairdryer and lamp in the bedroom were broken

The property was easy to find and we had a pleasant stay. It was a great central location. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly.

The hotel is on a main road and not set back as the photo implies. We were initially given a room without a view as booked and had to change. The window glass was cracked and the outside decoration is in a poor state.

I appreciate I knew when booking that there was no air con (and in fairness there was a good strong fan in the room). However, the window could not be opened, it had a sign on not to turn the opener. I understand that refurbishments are underway so hopefully this can change.

Very welcoming and friendly. Perfect location for shopping, blois chateau, restaurants. The chateau car park is a 1 minute walk and reception are super helpful with information on charges. The door code works really well to have 24 hour access. The breakfast is really good, lots of options and presented in a room that is very in keeping with the area. The town tourist office is a minute away. Lots of great food options minutes away and great little shops in the town. The welcome and hotel felt very authentic and it is a historic building.

the building is old and dusty, not very welcoming with stuff laying around. And to be honest I woke up with a lot of bites, which is weird because there were absolutely no mosquitos…I assume they were spiders, I don’t know…

Our room was one of the renovated once and it was nice. the location is perfect, right in front of the castle. breakfast was top: very rich and buffet with high quality products.

Unfortunately it was really hot and no ac so pretty uncomfortable overall. The bathroom shower needed a curtain or something. Also wall of shower really dirty!

No air condition , a little too hot at night. The hotel it self is old and the staircase need renovation, we had a great room and we loved the autentic decor so it was nice.

We took the castle view room, and it was nice and very well old french style decoration which we loved. The location was great. Breakfast room was amazingly decorated and breakfast was very nice. There was an elevator. Great location opposite the castle and close to everything. Nice staff.

Nothing. I can't fault the hotel for the weather!

Good central location. Traditional building a friendly and welcoming hotel (currently undergoing an unobtrusive rolling refurbishment programme) - the ambition is good. Mine was one of the modernised rooms on the top floor and had it not been for the exceptionally high (37c) temperatures of a late season heatwave would have been very comfortable. Parking close-by was not a problem. Would revisit on another occasion.
