the shower at our dorm didn't work but the staff had another bathroom we could use downstairs, which was a bit of a hassle going up and down but overall I love this place, it's very beautiful and authentic

I thought I will have a shared bathroom, but my room had its own. The bed was very clean, the rest in terms of value for money: excellent.

The bed in the dorm assigned to me was already used, I guess is not the hostel's problem, but because of other people, however I think this is not ok. As I could arrive late in the night couldn't do anything.

I liked that it is in the center of the city and that it offers hospitality in an old building. Staff fair, check-in easy, it is easy to find and to make sense.

There is no elevator at the property, shower and restroom are pretty small

Personal was very helpful and kind! Breakfast can be better but it's good. Room was clean and quiet. Close to metro station. I would reserve again and I highly recommend this place!!

The restroom smelled really bad. I think it should be cleaned more often or better since it's shared with the whole floor.

Nice staff, great location, good for young people but there was also families and older people. Simple breakfast but it's enough. It was a good stay in general.

I arrived at the wrong building despite my confirmation being that address. Definitely something to double check. Also there’s no communal kitchen in the building I stayed, disappointed I couldn’t not access a kettle in the evening.

The building is beautiful and has a lot of charm. The single room was perfect for one person one night. It was quiet and comfortable and the shower was good. Left luggage is very secure for the day you’re leaving. Good breakfast included and friendly staff

The room was too small :( and I was given only towels, any toothpaste, soap and shampoo. There was only soap in the dispenser in the room.

Location is excellent, right in the city center, metro station is in 2 minutes, central streets are near. Also I like that the hotel is located on the old building with its charming atmosphere.

We didn't like that we had not towels and we couldn't buy it in reception because all were dirty.... And we didn't like that we hadn't our private toilet... It was not comfort and occupied so much time to wait all other persons in line near public toilet at the morning.... It was not clean of course....

We appreciated comfort location near famous places in the city center and the possibility to leave our bags in hotel before and after check in and check out,our breakfast was good and so comfort for start our day without think and try to find the location for breakfast...

It would be so easy for the breakfast to have vegan options. Soy milk and non dairy butter and then the breakfast would be on par with what is offered to others.

There were no electrical plugs anywhere except one in the bathroom. There were USB ports at each bed, but non of them (4 beds with ports in the room) worked without holding the cord at a special angle and when you let go, it stopped working. We had to use the only plug in the bathroom to charge phones and I am thankful I brought a multiport charger. Make sure anything you bring that needs charged is a USB plug, but even then it may not work.

No lockers in the bedrooms.

Located in the heart of Paris, close enough to the Louvre. There is a little park with a water bottle filling station. The neighbourhood itself is quiet at night as well. The rooms come with a key card access and to the main door making them safe. The bedroom was clean and tidy. The pillows, bed and duvet were comfortable. The breakfast was included which was a great start to my day. A definite place to return to one day.

Charging port next to bed didn’t work nor did multiple charging ports in the common area. Wifi stopped working the second day I was their which was not great 😭

Great location and lovely staff. The private room is extremely basic for the price but it is the centre of Paris! It was close to the Metro and lovely to walk out and along the Seine within minutes.

The lights in the toilets worked not well. It would be convenient if bath linen was included in the private rooms. I find 6 euros for a small towel very expensive...

Great building and location. The Marais is already a great neighbourhood to spent your days. Super nice boutiques and restaurants. Of course the rooms are simple in a hostel, but clean. The breakfast is okay with fairly good coffee.

The scaffolds outside the building. I was afraid of opening the windows. It was easy for somebody from outside to get inside the room. Everything else was great.

It took me some time to find the location but that was mostly my fault for going to the wrong MIJE hostel. When I got to the building the door was locked and the signage was small so I was a little confused as to whether I was in the correct place (I.e. maybe the back of the building - but no front). However it’s a discrete entrance and for security reasons you press the buzzer and gain access. Staff ar eon site 24 hours so there is always someone to open the door

The location was excellent. Close to the River Seine and a several attractions (I.e. Notre Dame) as well as close to restaurants and bars. There were also a few small shops nearby.
