The central heating was overly warm and not very quickly responsive to adjustments. An opening window would have been welcome.

Quiet location within easy walking distance of city centre and great view of and access to canal (which we used to walk to and from the Co-Op stadium). Very welcoming staff. Pleasant decor with moody vibe. Nice outdoor terrace. Very good king room with everything we could have wanted (it’s unusual to be completely happy with first glimpse of room). Well designed amenities including spacious bathroom with separate shower and bath.

I found the staff really warm, pleasant and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate my very early arrival, so that I could get freshened up and head about my first day in the City. This kind of care is not expected, as I knew I'd be getting there before standard check-in times, but I really appreciated that the reception staff member (Leticia) was so thoughtful and considerate. It was truly a warm, Manchester welcome, where you felt that the staff cared about their guests. Sometimes when booking very design-driven hotels of this quality you worry that the team may have an attitude. I found every staff member to be truly warm, welcoming and down to earth.

Cold beverages in the fridge would make it. Couldn’t find anything regarding breakfast in bed, didn’t book breakfast as wanted to have a lazy morning in our room and would have been nice if we could have had the option to order breakfast. We had good room service in the night but more options such as a burger would of been nice on the menu that is on the other menu espically when you’ve had a few drinks and want some late night food

The bar was overpriced and staff were less attentive and less helpful than elsewhere in the hotel. The windows in the room were dirty.

The only negative we have is the warm bedroom. The air con only went down to 20c and was centrally controlled. It had been a very hot day and the room was uncomfortably warm all night. Made for a restless nights sleep.

The property is beautifully designed and decorated. The restaurants food was delicious and the bars were great. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Our room was big and had everything you could want.

The barrier for the valet parking , we always have to pull up on the street and go into the hotel to ask a member to come out to assist us and then can pull into the hotel. Great security but not a smooth arrival

Room got quite stuffy as you can't open windows. Buffet breakfast was quite minimal and not much choice, although you could order hot food from menu. Room toiletries are in TINY bottles - quite wasteful.

Hotel decor was lovely - really cozy and welcoming, with pretty restaurant, bar and bedrooms. Definitely best looking hotel I've tried in Manchester! Room was good size, and had really comfy bed and nice shower. Location was really close to train station (Piccadilly), nice location by canal.

Room was cold and even when we adjusted the air conditioning it didn’t get any warmer. Room was very dark, even with bright sunshine.
