Rather noisy at night in the warrior queen bedroom due to being next to the boiler..

Very central to everything, reasonable close to church street car park.

Room was tired and steps to get in were dangerously steep. Fortunately fit people but even in drink could have been an issue. The cupboard to loft fell off wall when we opened the main door. Understand listed building so has some development issues. Windows dirty and full of seagull poo. Access to bed difficult on left side as in a sloped alcove. Bathroom sink tiny and water goes on floor. This was the attic so other rooms may have had better access and fittings.

Location / Food/ coffee in room. Amazing mussels. Friendly helpful staff

Rooms a bit tired and in need of a freshen up. Fairly limited menu and felt small portions for the cost eg. Belly pork

A pleasant stay in a iconic hotel. Lovely staff, great breakfast.

Breakfast could have been a bit bigger.

Staff were very friendly, breakfast was delicious and the middle room exclusively for dog owners was a beautiful space. We've always loved the building and the room was comfy, clean and gorgeous.

The flask of milk given on our arrival was great but we probably should have asked for a fresh one, the milk would have turned by the time we left.

The location is amazing and the age of the property ensures character. The bathroom was enormous.

A unique property with lots of character. The food at the White Horse & Griffin was delicious. The staff were superb, they couldn’t do enough to help and make me and my 7 month anxious pup feel looked after. A lovely stay and I will definitely be coming back thanks to wonderful, accommodating staff and beautiful food. Thank you

Shower was very small - not suitable for anyone average height let alone tall but understand the difficulties in a very old property. It was manageable.

Room was lovely - perfect for a family. Location fabulous as was breakfast and they were very accommodating in terms of adapting the choices for children.

I'm a light sleeper and the room we stayed in (Warrior Queen) had what sounded like a boiler just sat behind the wall that woke me up a few times.

Staff really friendly, room clean and spacious, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good. Will definitely book again

WiFi was sketchy - apparently this is a problem everywhere on the east cliff, not just this hotel. The room was a little tired and dusty, not all roller blinds working, and the room wasn't serviced every day; however I think this was reflected in the fair price. Breakfast was good but they use sliced bread for breakfast sandwiches; a local Bothams roll would have been lovely!

Beautiful old building with lots of heritage, excellent location on the east cliff. The room was warm and spacious. Staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Bottomless coffee at breakfast was really lovely quality.
