How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The cleaning before arrival was not perfect, probably because the tourist season has just started. It spoiled the impression of the stay

The parking places were enough, but I think if all the apartments had been full, maybe it would have been tricky to find places to park the car. But there were free places near on the street. Also it is a bit far to the beaches so you have to use the car, but there are some nice beach in Pula.
The apartment was great, clean and comfy. Modern and well-equipped. Close to the supermakets and also to the center. We had a nice walk to the amphitheatre, and the old town. They were close enough, but only if you like walking.

Cleaning is not perfect.Owner have to keep an eye on it.
Home is really good and comfortable. But you have to pay attention about the cleanliness.

You need car to go anywhere, as surrounding is not really appropriate for walking.
The apartment is very spacious and just like in the photos. The owner is very helpful and allowed us to enter apartment even before the entrance time.

Air condition in each room, 2 bathrooms (one with shower, one with jacuzzi), storage closet as well and Wifi. A very well equiped Apartament. Quiet area. Owner is very friendly and answer quick on messages. We will return with every ocasion.

our apartment had windows which looked into the main stairwell.. during the night some other guest turned the light on in the stairs and it lights up the entire apartment.. also doesn’t feel very private when in the bathroom, would recommend blinds on these windows
spotlessly clean, very well equipped, very quiet location..beautifully furnished, air con was amazing when we walked in from a hot day! and it smelled so good when we first walked in!

Lack of parking
Close to the center of Pula. Only 30min walk to arena. Quiet area, close to highway and markets.

Having a washing machine would be very helpful as there is no good laundromat nearby. There is nothing near the location, not a problem if you have a car though.
Spacious, clean, and well quipped flat for a nice stay. Close to major roads that can serve as a good base to visit different beaches and attractions nearby. Easy check-in process and on-site parking.

Located out of the center and a little far from the sea in a very quiet place. We needed a free park, so it was perfect, but you have to reach everything by car (owever, it doesn't take more than 10 minutes)
Very comfortable, clean and there's everything you need.

WiFi connection was very unstable in our apartment. Good signal was only observed in the kitchen area and surprisingly in the bathroom. :D

The floor and pretty much everything was very dirty.towels smell pretty bad and the whole place it’s made just to make money without any intention to provide good service for customers.

Room has had alot of use and bears the marks of some not so careful guests, location is not viable without a car.

I did not like the bathroom the bathtub the shower. I recommend for the bathroom to be renovated however the stay was great

Very close to the main street with cars constantly passing by, couldnt opet the windowds even at night. We didnt use the balcony as it is on that side of the road. Found only German tv channels. Uncomfortable bed in living room and no tv in bedroom where the bed is comfortable and you could rest while watching tv.
Great, comfortable bed and pillows in bedroom. Spacious. Had everything needed in the apartment. Wifi passable but not the best.
