The property is in a stunning location and the apartment are very comfortable and well kept, the beds are particularly comfortable. Alex is a very helpful and attentive host, he gave us details advice and information about the area. We will be back again.

Alex and his family are amazing hosts and they truly want your Tuscan experience to be memorable. They are very passionate about this and also passionate about Tuscany and their home. We arrived on a rainy day and we stayed for 3 nights. Alex was communicating with us in advance to our stay and already providing many suggestions. However, given the rain, some of those original suggestions were not suitable when we arrived. So Alex proactively gave us other suggestions which was very helpful so we could still enjoy ourselves despite the weather!! As soon as we arrived, he provided us details of the local grocery store and gave us tips on how to navigate the town and find parking. Anything we wanted or needed to ask about, Alex and his family provided and were very responsive when we called or texted. It helped make our experience so nice because we got good local advice. The place is stunning. The view by the pool is spectacular!! Sweeping green hills and mountain views that go so far and makes you feel like you are in a different world. We truly wish we had more time to enjoy it and could have stayed there longer. The small towns are also very close by (around 10-15min drive) and the green hills are everywhere!! It's so lovely to drive around the area and see all the greenery but it's even more magical to wake up with it on your front door in the morning while having your coffee. This place is beautiful. Alex and his family made some great recommendations. We really loved Montechiello and the thermal pools too. Dinner at Lieviti for pizza is so yummy and is inside an old wine cellar, so it's a beautiful venue and only 5-10 min drive. Order the Bufalina pizza yum! There are so many other nice restaurants too. If you want to enjoy real Tuscany, this is the place to be. It's away from the crowds, so very peaceful but still close to everything. And because it's family run, they truly care about your experience and will try their best to help you.

Alex was no other word other than perfect. An exceptional host, no job was too much to ask and his recommendations were superb. I am a person who doesn't like to visit the same place twice but best believe I will be looking to visit again, the stay met all our expectations and more.

We had the most amazing time. Alex is an excellent host - super friendly and his recommendations were spot on. The photos don’t do the place justice - the view is incredible and the room was much bigger than we expected. Couldn’t have asked for better accommodation for our first time in Tuscany. Nothing - was perfect for our stay

Awesome space. Alex the host was amazing. Had fantastic communication, tips and advice was extremely friendly and helpful. Messaged before we arrived to help us settle in, greeted us and answered any questions we had including wonderful recommendations for food and things to do. We loved our stay here with the great space and felt very relaxed. Accommodation was nice and clean. Internet worked well. Location to mediaeval towns including Montepulciano was perfect for our stay just a short drive in to town. We would highly recommend Serraglio and really appreciate Alex and his family for an amazing time. They also have excellent wines to try!

Excellent location just outside of Montepulciano with sweeping views of the beautiful countryside. Our accommodation was lovely and our host Alex was amazing. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was everything we wanted it to be. The easy check in and check out process made the stay even more pleasurable. I'd return to this property in a heartbeat!

The property is beautiful with the vineyard, walnut trees, and other fruits. The pool looks out onto the mountains of Tuscany and it’s extremely relaxing. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. Above all, Alex’s kindness and hospitality made our stay so special and he provided expert recommendations and was able to answer all of our questions.

Staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful. It was the perfect location especially if you rented a car. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!! The wine made by the family owners is also excellent!

Our family loved our stay at Agriturismo Il Serraglio. The location was excellent - very peaceful surrounding and close enough to visit the surrounding amazing hill towns. Alex, our host, could not have been nicer. He was immediately available for all our needs and he gave us great tips in regard to sightseeing and restaurants in the neighborhood. During the mornings, we - consisiting of 2 four adults and 4 kids - enjoyed ourselves at the amazing swimming pool and in the afternoons we explored the surrounding area.

Such a beautiful property, almost like living in a storybook. Alex was a fantastic host. We were only message away from reviving a delivery of his family’s delicious wine. The farm house was lovely and stocked with anything you could need. We couldn’t find the corkscrew. Alex hand delivered one. The view from the terrace was to die for. The historic town is amazing and close to other beautiful small towns. would definitely stay here again.

Not much to complain about! The only thing if I had to pick is that the interiors look a little old and a bit tired, but this is a very minor complaint.

Our host was fantastic, super friendly and easy going. He gave us loads of recommendations for the area which we followed and we had an amazing time in Val D'Orcia. The property is also very quiet and well located. The grounds are super nice to wander around and the view is lovely. The pool was a little too cold but still a nice bonus to have for a quick dip! Highly recommend!

Amazing place to stay. Beautiful area with such amazing views and great facilities. The family are so nice and helpful. Alex helped us to find a car to rent, ran us into town, gave great advice on things to do and even bought us a kettle! Also his dad ran me to the supermarket and back when he saw me trying to walk into town. We bought some wine made in there own vineyard which was amazing. would recommend this place so much 👍
