The elevator was old and there are only 2 in the building. This wasn't a problem, but we had to wait very very long for it to arrive. We would have walked, had we not been living on the 6th floor. What shocked us a bit, was that the toilet was in the shower, which means that after you showered, the toilet seat was wet. This is probably to save room, and honestly as long as you close the toilet, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. We also think that the price was pretty high for the quality, but you can't really find anything less expensive in Florence.

The breakfast was amazing. They had so much to choose from, and it was very delicious. We also liked the interior of the facility. We also think it's nice that they also have communal rooms for students. The staff was very nice and helpful, they even provided tips and maps. We were also able to check out and leave our luggage at the hostel, while we explored the city before our train left. The view was also breathtaking. The hostel is a bit further away from the city centre, but luckily it's very easy to navigate the trams in Florence, which take you very close to the location of the hotel. Overall, the hostel made a great impression and we would definetly stay again!

location isn’t right in the centre, it’s about a half an hour walk from the hostel but there’s a tram stop 5 minutes away that comes regularly and is really cheep

Wonderful location and staff. There were many restaurants in walking distance as well as the tram that takes you to and from the city center. The staff was extremely helpful in providing information and they also were able to fix our air conditioning immediately. The room was also perfect for what we needed. The breakfast was also a highlight and something that we looked forward to each day.

I do feel like having a shower and toilet separate from one another should have been more important than having a bidet.

I loved how simple and functional it was. It was light and airy and everything worked perfectly. The ease of getting into the city centre by tram was also so great.

It was a lovely place with fantastic breakfast! The reception staff were excellent. The room was very efficient for the size. Very close to the tram stop (5 mins walk), and only four stops from the city centre. 2 mins walk from a decent supermarket. Inbetween two really good pizza places (max 5 mins walk)

The only thing I did not like is that while we were having breakfast, the guy who was restocking the food came to my table to give me a full lecture on how we couldn't take things from the breakfast to eat them outside ?? in the middle of eating, just because he saw we took maybe 2-3 small packages of nutella and honey, TO HAVE DURING OUR MEAL. I really think that is an inappropriate thing to say to something that is eating :)
