The room was a little small, so I wouldn’t recommend it for longer stays or if you have a lot of luggage, but otherwise comfortable.

The property is in an excellent location overlooking the sea and square below. It is close to all amenities, a short walk from shops, restaurants, and down to the sea. The room was comfortable though a little small and there was a shared communal kitchen area that could be used.

Kitchen was shared, and the room has no power while you are away so the fridge doesn't cool down. We had some cheese spoil during the day sadly and our wine couldn't cool down as we were out all day. A second room key would be good to keep power on.

Delicious breakfast and a perfect location overlooking the sea. The host is also super friendly and helpful.

No parking nearby. You will have to park in the city (good luck if it’s too busy!) or down by the beach and walk uphill. The outside of the building looks old and not in a historic kind of way. But it’s ok for the value.

Great view and great value. The landlord (although a bit strict with check-in time) was so sweet. She made us breakfast herself in the morning.

The only minor minus was the bathroom, especially its floor needs a bit of repair.

We wanted to book the room with the "best panoramic view over Tropea's beaches", including the Santuario Rock, and we were not disappointed! Breakfast was served punctually to our room so we could enjoy it on the tiny but ultra-scenic balcony. There was also a common kitchen area available, although we did not use it. Friendly, helpful service.

The property was in a great location central to everything. The panoramic view of the sea, Santa Maria Sanctuary and the Aeolian Islands was spectacular. Caterina and her staff were extremely attentive and provided a delicious breakfast of our choice everyday.

Everything! The room, the view, the location, breakfast, and wonderful Monica! We had Prosecco on the balcony every evening while watching the most beautiful sunsets and breakfast in our room in front of the balcony watching the sun come up. All in all, a stunning experience.

I was looking forward to the continental (Italian) breakfast, as shown in the pictures, but I assume it being winter season our host provided a made-to-order breakfast. When you enter the B&B there is a shared space. The kitchen area. Then you are welcomed to your room. Since we have children we always look for kitchen appliances to make our own meals or snacks because kids are kids. In the description it states, "A dishwasher, a fridge and stovetop are also available." This area was not totally available for us to use. Only a few things, but don't bring food to cook. It is not an area you are allowed to use for cooking.

Sunset Tropea is a wonderful, romantic location with a beautiful view of the water. The pictures of the balcony and view don't lie. You can hear the waves crashing. Watch people down below. Close to the old city and a great place to relax. Host is very friendly. Facility nicely renovated and clean. The room is best for two people. We have two small children (age 4 & 7) and it was a tight squeeze, but we made it work. The sofa bed was great for the children. It had a mattress underneath to provide more space for each child. The breakfast was good and made with care. I loved having the water filling station in the kitchen. When we needed plates, napkins or the use of microwave, we could easily access the kitchen. We couldn't hear any other sounds from surrounding rooms. The host, Monica, was easy to communicate with and helped provide suggestions for dinner when we were walking around.

The location is on those famous cliffs of Tropea. It’s up a couple flights of stairs in an older building. We had a room with a balcony, superior double. It’s squeezy but didn’t worry us too much. Amazing views. There is a shared kitchen area where you can make coffee anytime. There was also a kettle in the room. Very quiet and comfortable to sleep. Feels safe. Breakfast is brought to your room in the morning, we had coffees, biscuits, eggs, croissants and fruit. All very nice. Very quaint surrounding streets. We ate at a takeaway pizza/arancini place, it’s on the main street east to find, also panini at michele market just down street. The Christmas lights were on around town and it was so pretty. We walked from the train station, about 10 mins, longer on way back because uphill.

There wasn't anything negative, but just a note, when you arrive I suggest you drive as close to the location as possible before you enter the TZL zone... unpack your things. It is a blue stripe area, but at this time of the year Off Season there's no charge after seven pm till 9 a.m. the next day. You can easily move to free parking which the owner will Direct you to once you've unloaded.

The view was spectacular. the home cooked breakfast made specifically for you with delicious and offered eggs which is a treat. The location was great right in Old Town, and most specifically Monica was so knowledgeable, helpful and kind. ( and speaks Great English)

Outstanding B&B in the best possible location in Tropea. Beautiful, clean room (Stromboli) with the most amazing view. Monica was an excellent hostess who brought us breakfast each morning to have on the balcony. While the B&B is close to perfect, Monica adds that extra special touch and will make your stay outstanding. Catarina is also a wonderful lady who helps run this little gem.

Everything was absolutely perfect, Monica was wonderful and made an amazing breakfast. We had the best view every night for the sunset and it was close to all the restaurants, will definitely come back on our next trip to Tropea!
