The rooms were a bit small and the design was a bit awkward, but they did have everything we needed.

The hotel is in an excellent location, very clean and just a little funky. The breakfasts were good, and all the staff friendly and helpful.

Really interesting and contemporary accommodation. Although smaller than some other accommodation we’ve had across Japan, our room was comfortable and met all our needs. Perfectly situated to shopping, food, transport and important local sites - it was very convenient. Breakfast was excellent and I highly recommend. The dining area is very cool !

Room was a little small, but very beautiful.

Beautiful boutique hotel on a quiet street. 11 minute walk from train station and 8 minute walk to Omiya market. Could also walk to tea district, Samurai district and gardens in about 20 to 30 minutes. Really liked the feel of this hotel. We didn’t have any meals here but it was right across from a fantastic coffee, latte place with wonderful breakfast sandwiches. Would highly recommend staying here.

This group of hotels all have an amazing aesthetic especially in the common areas like the guest lounge. Koro was no exception with the “Pool Side” lounge amazing.

Room layout was a little awkward/tight for 4 people. Bunk beds with raw plywood style seem unfinished but functional.

Location is perfect very near Hiroshima shopping, bars, restaurants. Entrance is not flashy but inside is modern. cool lounge area, modern amenities.

Very good breakfast, staff kind and flexible to our requests (we had to check-in late at midnight and they waited for us). Good location (half way between JR station and city center.

Clean room, pretty lobby, had a bathtub and a very comfortable bed. It was also great that the windows could be opened as we like some fresh air when we sleep. The area outside was also very quiet at night.

It’s a beautiful property in a convenient, fun and lively part of the city. The dining room is a wonderful space and the overall design is intelligent and sophisticated. The use of very high quality guest shampoo, conditioner and body wash was very impressive and appreciated.

Note that you have to make breakfast reservations the day before and they don’t have a lot of space, so it can be full. We tried to put the 2 single beds together, but due to cables attached to the night stand in the middle, that wasn’t possible.

We loved everything about this pretty hotel. We are a family of 3 with a young adult daughter. We stayed in the loft room with 2 beds and 2 bunkbeds, plenty of space. The beds are firm in a nice way. The whole ambiance is perfect, very friendly staff, free drinks, you can do laundry (with coins) and Hiroshima is a very lively, friendly city. We had breakfast once and that was good, but not for every day i think. There are lot’s of other places around.

Cool hotel in a great area. I loved the architectural details- exposed concrete beams, bar is in a converted indoor pool. Communal facilities- kitchen and laundry- were excellent and very handy.

Beds a little bit firm. Window onto alleyway for our ground floor room. Fine for us as we only had a overnight stay.

Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms. Coffee at the cafe in the lobby was excellent. Breakfast was also very nice.

Room facilities were great for 2 adult & 2 tweens. Comfortable beds. Welcoming staff and good coffee in the foyer. Pool Deck staff were lovely, very accommodating and made a great G&T! Handy laundry facilities

Door to the shower was transparent, meaning that the bathroom couldn’t be shared while someone was showering - a bit difficult when traveling in a larger group.

Conveniently located, modern feel, clean and lovely common areas. Reasonably quiet so we could get a good nights sleep in between sightseeing. Wish that we hadn’t been so busy out in the city so we could have enjoyed the lounge space some more!
