The single room was a very usable size and layout. The location was so convenient with proximity to the subway and bus stops. Everything was super clean and this accommodation served as a great base for exploring different parts of Seoul.

The common area wasn’t open late and closes at 930pm. I do not wish for the staff to work late to keep it open, got to find other solutions; I could help them look after the common area if they are ok:)

Nice comfy bed, excellent privacy provided by the layout of the room, even though was staying in a 4 bed room. Staff were very friendly and helpful; they even allowed me to play with one of their personal VR rigs.

The main street can be little noisy at times, but well beyond bearable.

Location is excellent close to the metro station and the main street of Itaewon. Lots of restaurants, showps, bars, and clubs are at a walking distance from the hostel, but the immediate environment of the hostel is not restless or noisy. Facilities and rooms were really clean, bed was comfortable, and I didn't have to queue to the shared bathrooms or toilets. Extra points for fluffy towels and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers. Staff is super friendly and chill. Rooftop views are gorgeous. Itaewon district is very international, almost too much for me, as I prefer to eat local and not Turkish kebab when in Korea. But I would definitely stay in this hostel again.

I wish the curtains in the rooms were darker/more opaque as it's annoying when people switch on the lights in the middle of the night.

The hostel is surrounded by bus stations and an underground station. This was very beneficial for exploring Seoul. Since it's located in Itaewon, the nightlife is basically just down the street, but not so close that you have annoying party goers near the house. So it's perfect! The staff are very nice and it's incredibly clean for a hostel!

I can’t really fault H Hostel.

H Hostel is clean and modern, with loads of conveniences and efficiencies. I stayed in both a dorm and a private room with a shared bathroom. The dorms are great, you have your own little space, the curtain makes it feel quite private and it’s spacious. There’s a toilet and shower in the room. The private room was pretty much hotel level. You share a bathroom but it’s on the same floor as your room and I never had to wait. The showers and toilets are seperate which is awesome. They do a free brekky with DIY eggs on toast, pastries, coffee and juice. There’s bins and water coolers available between floors. The 5th floor common space is super cool, and there’s barely ever anyone in there so you get heaps of space. Rooftop is gorgeous. The staff are nice and easy to chat to and ask questions of. They helped me with a few things including printing my train tickets. Location is easy, it’s a couple of mins to Itaewon station. Itaewon is awesome.

1. The matterace is covered with a thick plastic foil right underneath the sheet you sleep on (presumably for hygiene and spill prevention), but it's a nightmare to sleep on - crinkling loudly on every move and makes you feel hot as hell at night. 2. There's no separate shower tray and so the whole bathroom serves as a wet area - every time someone showers it floods the entire bathroom.

Amazing view from the 5F rooftop, I was there most nights with a cold beer in hand (and usually alone!) 4. Complimentary breakfasts are a nice touch, even if they're very basic. 5. I paid for 4 bed female dormitory but was placed in a 3 bed one, awesome! 6. 20% discount to a cafe downstairs. 7. Awesome location, super close to everything. 8. Good quality complimentary toiletries, the shower gel smelled amazing.

-Very helpful staff and very friendly. -The hostel is very well located. Itaewon subway station is at a short walking distance as well as multiple bus stations. You can easily go everywhere by public transportation. -Very clean. Everything looks new and well maintained. -We stayed for 15 nights in our private room and it truly felt like a home away from home. -Multicultural neighbourhood with lots of various food options (halal, vegan etc.).

The plastic mattress protector was very uncomfortable, it should go underneath the cloth protective layer. I removed it. There is often loud banging heard from other rooms I have no idea why but it is very disturbing.
